Media Literacy is the ability to understand deep and complex themes in media, such as that "nazis are LE BAD" or that "angels are biblically accurate". It is a phrase beloved by many breeds of pseudo-intellectuals, especially YouTube video essayists. Media literacy is most commonly mentioned in discussions of this week's troonslop, although people sometimes like to bring it up when talking about books that have already been dissected 20 thremtrillion times like 1984. If someone uses this term unironically, (you) can safely disregard their opinion.
