Quake is a game by ID Software released in 1996 after DooM 2. It's best known for being the actual most influential video game ever. Also it was (and arguably still is) one of the gemmiest multiplayer games ever released. The game and it's engine, Id Tech 2, is also best known for being the ancestor of the GoldSrc Engine (which later turned into just Source Engine). This would later make aryan classics such as Half-Life and Call of Duty, former which then made almost countless gemmy games.
