Omori is an A24 slow-burn, spine-tingling, bone-chilling, genre-defining 30-hour jewpanese indieslop game where all the characters are in their early teens and learn about how friendship is important or however the brown jartycuck grooms cacas in the 'moribus. It also started the awful "Earthbound-inspired allegory for depression RPG with pixelated graphics" meme.

An enigmatic entity associated with the game is the Omori bus. Appearing in several locations through the US, it takes the form of a bus with Omori imagery painted all over it. It is said to host the darkest, most vantablack niggers to ever exist. Scary as shit.

The Game

The game begins in a dream sequence, where Omori is in a fantasy world with his friends Kel, Aubrey, Hero, Basil, and Mari. Though basil vanishes after dropping a photo of a smashed violin, causing you to wake up.

The main character's real name is Sunny. As you play the game, you uncover more about the past of the characters. Sunny's friend group shattered after his sister Mari was found hanging in his backyard. Omori is Sunny's alter-ego which he uses so he doesn't have to confront the trauma of the past in his dreams.

The game is split in two segments: dream, and reality. The real life sections are the only parts of the game that are remotely good, and they involve Sunny repairing his broken friend group and making amends with the past. In the dream segments, nothing actually happens. It's actually just pure slop, where a bunch of literal who characters appear and fight you. The dream segments of the game take up the vast majority of your time, and apparently only exist to waste your time and derail you. The pacing of this game is absolute garbage.

Anyway, eventually Sunny does confront his trauma. Apparently he "accidentally" killed his sister, so he and Basil covered it up as a suicide by leaving her corpse on a tree to pretend she ACKed herself. For some reason, none of the characters ever questioned the logistics of this. Mari was pushed down a fight of stairs, crashing into a broken violin and snapping her neck. You don't even need an autopsy to reveal this, simply looking at her neck would have revealed she was murdered and then hanged.

The ending is left intentionally ambiguous so that fanfiction writers can do the actual work finishing the story.

Fandom

Omori's fandom is filled with both troons and cacas The fandom is generally considered insufferable. Every pedophile and groomed minor has set their profile picture to either Sunny/Omori or Basil at least once. Lots of 'P has been drawn of the characters, despite all of them being minors. There are a few fangames of Omori that are better written than the main game. The same can be said for some fanfics, but YOU VILL NOT SEARCH FOR OMORI FANFICTION. The vast majority of it is brimstone so dark, not even the Jarty could produce it.

Relation to the Sharty

During Operation 9/11, OMOCAT snitched on our domain registrar, they seethed at how gemmy the Sharty was and shut it down for several hours, mandating that /raid/ gets removed for the site to be brought back. OMOCAT got 'oxxed and 'aped by soyteens in the operation shortly later. Xhe and her stupid game, became hated by all Soyteens after that.
