The soyical arts are a collection of esoteric knowledge and cultural practices that are studied and performed by the soy community. Many of these practices come from years ago, when /qa/ was still the powerhouse of 'jakking on 4cuck.

History

The first soyical practice is currently unknown, but it might be possible that the first one was soyjakking. When The Swede first uploaded Soyak.png, something felt amazing about some bald man with glasses and stubble, the PNG didn't look like the Mona Lisa, but one thing worked: They looked exactly like what they're mocking.

Another point that the first one is 'jakking is that Proto-soyjak media exists, Rage comics, Trollface (blud ts so tuff💀💀 only in ohio) and other stuff look similar to the classic Soyak that The Swede uploaded on 4cuck's /int/.

Muttposting

Muttposting technically can be considered a soyical art since it's posted often on the 'sphere. The Amerimutt variant originated from the 2015-2017 /int/ meme "Le 56 Face" or however the oldfag culchur is mentioned, meaning that Mutt is proto-soyjak media too.

Main fields

The soyical arts include, but are not limited to:

• Soy duels, both against human opponents and against a computer-controlled opponent (Artificial Soyduel).
• Raiding other imageboards and websites, either by creating new soy-themed posts or by soyquoting existing posts. May also be utilized in order to obtain some GETs.
  • Jackbox Raiding; the art of chudding up Twitch streams using bone-chilling, spine-tingling, A24 slowburn methods.
  • Roblox Raiding; the science of mining salteralds in ROBLOX games. (now illegal)
  • PixelPlanet Raiding; when 'teens build sharty coalies and deface the coalies of opposing factions in the pixel art website Pixelplanet. May also refer to efforts by soyteens to do the same on other pixel art websites like Pixelplace.io & Pixelcanvas.io, though 'teens prefer to do it on the 'net due to it being rather chuddy and unrestricted in comparison to other pixel art websites
• Doxing all of the enemies of the sharty for committing crimes against soymanity.
• Lorekeeping; an extensive and enduring body of lore for the "Soyjak Cinematic Universe", such as writing adventure threads, keeping tabs on the Mental Asylum patients, or writing articles about the lore of soyjak characters, such as Nate.
• Art: creating new Soyjak variants and trends, such as PPP and Babyjaks (May also apply to NASsy alleged "sharty culture" like Soytan, Frogs. and Gigas, though it is highly recommended that one uses their artistry to make IAS gems rater than NAS that is mostly likely coal, no matter how "sharty culture" the NAS is).
• Aesthetics; discerning between gems and coal, IAS and NAS, and answering some of life's most difficult questions, like "Is Cobson a gem?" and "Is Chudjak IAS?".
• Media literacy; similar to aesthetics but instead of dealing with soyjak drawings, it's with various multimedia works that are purported to be "sharty culture" in some way, like Ongezellig and Fundamental Paper Education and determining if they are gemmy or forced discord coal (spoiler: they are forced)
• Administration; managing or being a janny of either the sharty itself or a splinter. Involves dealing with ‘p, BMT, and general brimstone spam and conducting events. Also involves instituting datamining in order to ostensibly deal with 'p (though the actual purpose is probably to sell that data to companies and three-letter agencies). • Music; creating shitty parodies that are sung by ESL shitskins with terrible voices and mics while their parents are at home genre-redefining, trope-subverting songs in order to become the next David Thoughie.
• Hunting (You)s; crafting bait skillfully and with opportunistic timing, sometimes after rare game like in sootbaiting.
• Computing (Windows, Linux)
  • Computer science and programming (C and C++, Java, Rust, Python, C#, HolyC, Lua, Flash, JavaScript and User JS, Developer, Artificial soyduel)
  • Raids and hacking (Undertroon Memories Rape, Tea app leak, Operation Deuteranopia, Operation SoySphere-Cobvas, Discord Babybot)
  • Game development (Soyjak: The Video Game, CobsonTale, Five Nights at Cobson's, Soot Quest, Mega Chud)
• Literary criticism and critical theory; studying the Western and Amerimutt canons, uncovering basal cultural assumptions for devising calculated, trenchant bait, copypastas, and greentexts.
• Survival skills for bone-chilling, genre-redefining events such as the Soypocalypse and the Fourth Industrial Revolution.
• Mathematics (Contour integration, Thrembo)
• Cooking, with the most iconic dishes being Soylent, Sproke and Bugs. Typically served as Breakfast For Dinner.
• Psychology & psychiatry, especially in the field of mental health (schizophrenia) and experimental treatments (Sproke & Meds).
• Legal studies and political activism (Soyjak Rights, TND, Soylitics).
• Science; deboonking dangerous alt-right conspiracy theories for the sake of Our Democracy, eating the bugs, drinking the soy, living in the pod, and accelerating the Fourth Industrial Revolution.
• Theology; engaging in admin worship, attempting to predict future admins, and discussing the characteristics of various soychatological events.
• Proselytization; inviting normalGODs to the sharty in order to turn them into soyteens and increase the influence of the sharty upon wider society. This can be done through various methods.
• Civil engineering, as seen on the Soycraft server.
• Espionage; spying on Discord servers and the activities of prominent figures in order to leak them to soyteens.

• Linguistics in function to the building of the soyjak native tongue
• Geography; learning where specific places are and engaging in countrywarring.
• Scientific racism; outlining the characteristics of certain races, being a hecking bigoted chudcel, and ranting about the characteristics of differently colored penises.
• Ethnography; describing all of the different factions of the soyosphere and determining which are the ones making the gems and which are the ones that are the coal destroying the sharty.
• History and historiography (Soyjak.party/Happenings, Origin of soyjak)
• Archaeology in the pursuit of recovering long lost gems by digging through the archives.
• Preservation; archiving everything for the purpose of making sure that soyjaks and their history aren't erased.
• Taxonomy; classifying soyjaks in the 'ru by their bodily characteristics and deciding if zey are variant:unknowns or not.
• Cryptozoology; investigating certain entites in order to determine if they are real or not. Prominent soyologists have determined this field to be pseudoscientific in nature and full of lies.
• Pedagogy; teaching newGODs about soyjak culture and history, which is what one of the main purposes of this wiki is. It can also refer to efforts by soyteens to make Elsagate-style videos involving soyjaks in order to teach children things like the ABCs and the nutritional value of bugs while subliminating 'jaks into their developing minds.
• Jakstrology; the study of astrological principles as applied to the soysphere
