Soyjak Forum

Soyjak Forum, also known as the Shroom is a XenForo-based forum and blogging site that serves as the de facto, yet unofficial, successor to soyjak.blog (also known as the Schlog). The forum was founded on April 20, 2025 by the Schlog's old mod/janny team and several prominent Schlog namefags after the original Schlog got sold to new owners. As a Schlog splinter, this website has much of the same culture and it is hated by most soyteens for some reason. Despite this however, it was never considered disruptive by Quote. The site's userbase primarily consists of former Schlog users who jumped ship once the site was sold to Telnet, aswell as cacas.
The forum was founded after the sale announcement which was spurred by Froot's unwillingness to host the forum, as its quality was poor, with new incidents every other month (this time it was two namefags getting kissy kissy and edating through the forum[1]) -- thus, he was through with it. While the Schlog's future was in limbo, a bunker group was made on Steam which current users of the Schlog used to keep themselves updated about what the Schlog users were up to and to track downtime, but at the same time the group's owner was in the process of establishing a new forum that would become the Schloggers' new home.
History
The site was created by Shroot, who was the schlog user and janny SmallAnus. He would decide to build his own forum website as a fun project and to use as his guinea pig to try to develop anti-DDOS protection. The day before the opening, he partnered up with Doll as Nagolbud backed out from making Doll's own splinter thanks to him being a schizophrenic felon who lives in the Mexican woods. The site was opened on April 20, 2025, and thanks to the bunker chat and Doll helping migrate the users over to there with his Telegram channel, it received a large influx of users on its first day.
The news of the Shroom opening led to Froot briefly treating it as disruptive and banning anyone who ever mentioned it. Froot claimed he wouldn't have to do anything and that it would only last a week. Despite Froot's antics, the Shroom had cordial relations with Quote and Frootcord, especially thanks to Doll. However, Froot then decided to take his 11XMR in funny money and kick it so he was out of the picture.
Following the Great Handover, Quote became the new owner of the Party; and due to Quote's good relationship with the Shroom and its administration, the site was free to focus on its own ventures without the risk of the Party's administration getting in the way. More development was on the way for the Shroom
First Takedown
The original site domain, soyjak.forum, went down after a couple of hours of being online due to a foodist reportfagging it and the domain registrar being a tranny antifa one (Never use Njalla when setting up a website if you plan on having any content edgier then kitty-cat videos). It later came back as soyjakforum.st before that domain was also reported and taken down, with the site moving to soyjakforum.net until they got soyjak.forum back. The site formerly ran the Shrootflare DDoS protection software which did not work without JavaScript and WASM enabled.
Warrior-Z scuffle
Thanks to a thread about a 3D printed Warrior-Z lamp going viral on the Shroom[3] and some shitflinging done at Z's expense on the booru, he decided to delete all pro-shroom posts on the Booru. This caused Shroot to change the logo to "Warrior-P Forum" because of leakage for a few hours.[4]
Handover
On the 20th of December 2025, the host, Shroot, decided that he's going to retire from being the owner of the Shroom, saying that he had a bunch of other problems to take care of and also because of the SoyBooru Crisis, he was going to give it to Broot but he declined so he gave it to Catter.[5]
Second Takedown
In late March 2026, they got DDOSed and later taken down due to a false CP report.[6] The host of the site would go on to blame Broot along with accusing him for said DDOSing and "leaking IPs".
Later on the 24th of March, 2026 the Shroom recovered from it's DDOS with Shroot switching to a more powerful server, after he revealed that the original server he used only had 3GB of Ram, and the server provider generally being bad.[7]
However on March 25, 2026 the site would go down again, displaying a Cuckflare Error 523[8] for half an hour until getting back up, albeit going back down a couple more hours later, redirecting to the Shrooru, with it being revealed that a certain tawny individual who likes to larp as a vegetable was actually behind the DDOS, copying the Cuckflare API key. [9]
Transfer
It was later amended to include this sentence:Hi server is down and I'm too busy to fix it right now. (((They))) are DDoSing the server I'm also giving the site over to Doll so he can make it better than before while I continue to have a life. Thank you for your patience
It returned the next day, and Catter was no longer a Shroom admin, as he retired. The ownership was transferred to DOLL, which owned der 'party at least Ϫ gorillion years ago. This would officially end the [[Quotist occupation of the site.(UPDATE): I'm going to sleep since I've been outside with family for the entire day and it's midnight so the site will be maybe back later tomorrow ( ͡°( ͡° ͜ʖ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)ʖ ͡°) ͡°)

Culture
Shroom Cave
A chatbox that is used for conversations between users. It has 61,000 replies and amounts for 29% of the shroom's total messages. Notable users of the chatbox are Garf, Ewandoe, Modderola, Toniylijani, supadrayk, and Jimbo who all have over 4,000 messages on it. The shroom cave is also used for spam by some users as the oldschlog chatbox was mostly spam rather than actual conversations. Ever since regular posts were split from chat posts, the shroom cave has become a DNB.
Hymen claiming and defending
Hymen claiming comes from incel refugees that started copying their "Hymen break!" joke to profiles without any posts. However, some shroomers are kind enough to try defending profile hymens before anyone can break them.
Wawa
An unknown phrase spammed by worldatwar, Zuse and some other namefags. Someone asked about this but there wasn’t a clear answer.[10]

Controversy
The website has been criticized for everything the Schlog suffered from, such as namefag drama, e-dating, and SNCA. In its later years, the website's community has come to be labeled by some as a circle jerk due to its insular culture and the tendency of its moderators and admins to ban users they dislike or users who go against public opinion, with one instance where Doll performed a mass purge of anyone even tangentially related to irc.soyjak.st. Most of these fraudulent bans were later overturned by Catter, but the website continues to suffer from a lack of new users as a result of a culture of mostly meta whining and not much else (just like most splinters)
In addition, most of the website's activity centered around SoyBooru since many namefags there would use its Community Watch section as a venue to discuss their site, but the opening of the Boorum meant that users would instead use the official forum, which has robbed the Shroom of most of its PPH. The majority of people who still use the Soybooru thread are former namefags who were banned during the cacacaust.
Edit wars
This site was in a constant useless nigger war with its now-defunct neighbor, the NuSchlog, with much social engineering occurring on this very page. Both shroomcucks and schlogcucks would shit up the recent changes of this very 'ki until a radical approach was taken to the edit warring and trickery.[11] After the NuSchlog's death, the Shroom would remain the only meaningfully used soyjak-themed forum (despite being outside of the official soysphere and outside Quote's ownership) until SoyBooru's Nuuru UI update which saw the creation of SoyBooru's in-website forum, also known as the Boorum. The Shroom's future now hangs in the balance.
Boorum drama

The site and its users turned on Broot after he left his position as an admin on the Shroom to become a Boorum forum administrator, with the site's host even putting up notices featuring him.[12]
Albeit as of recently, Broot has returned like a wet, defeated dog back to the Shroom, begging to be accepted there again.
But alas, no one gives a shit, neither Broomcuck nor Shroomcuck.
And so he lays there, conquered by his own decision-making.

Shooru
Soyjak Forum Booru, more commonly known as the ShroomBooru or simply the Shrooru was the official booru for the Shroom created by the shroom mod Hillel Hartmann on February 14, 2026 amongst talks of something similar to the Schlog "Media" tab being added to the Shroom. Despite having "soyjak" in its name, it allowed various types of NAS to be posted, including media not related to the Soysphere. Because of this, virtually anything could be uploaded there as long as it did't break the rules (which were mirrored from the Shroom). Shroomteens were also incentivized to upload their profile music to the Shrooru, due to it alongside "catbox.moe" and formerly "pomf.lain.la" being the only sources for audio files permitted.
Accounts needed to be approved by the jannies to submit files to the site without being stuck in an approval queue[13], which was in-place for comments, guestposting and tag-editing guest posts. Those go to an on-site approval queue.[14] To get approved, you had to make an account on the Shroom and submit a request in this Shroom thread.
Closure
Due to Hillel being revealed to be an alleged pedophile[it just is, ok?snopes?it just is, ok?how???whatbut... why?] on the 1st of May he was banned on the Shroom, after which he first redirected the domain to the Broom and then subsequently shut down the website.
