Boot, previously (for a short period of time after being declared as admin) known as Retard, was an admin of the Sharty who gained his powers by rolling the name "Retard" in a "first to roll" thread on June 16, 2025,[1] until June 19, 2025, when he resigned.[2]
Quote has confirmed in a Q&A that Boot was not a real person and was just a persona for an event, as it would have been dangerous to give a random 'teen admin powers.[3] Boot was played by Limeade.
Boot was best known for making pointless changes amazing changes and modposting for attention on /soy/ as well as banning NAS from /soy/ and stealing a GET From 4cuck. He also executed well over 100 'teens for being dissidents[4]

Boot would just do whatever soyteens who rolled trips would tell him to do, thoughbeit with multiple exceptions (he would refuse to make others admins or ban everyone).[5]

On June 17, 2025, Boot would accuse Sneedposters of being pedophiles[THIS DIDN'T HAPPEN MEDS] and ban them on sight, which caused an uptick of Anti-Bootist sneedposting to flare up on the 'log. Later, he would retract this statement and declare that he was "always friends with sneedposters"[WHICH HE ALWAYS HAS BEEN].[11]

On June 17, 2025, Boot hosted a cytube. In the cytube, he posted a poll deciding whether he was a gem, seeing over 20 yes votes and 1 no vote

On June 18, 2025, Bootists claimed the 4cuck /gif/ 29000000 GET.[14]
Boot also sent a message in /soy/ telling Bootists to cattywipe 4cuck's /mlp/ board. About 2 pages were wiped before a janny woke up.
Raids were then directed at mlpol.net (which autoarchives slid threads that were recovered, so as if nothing happened), ponyville.us and nhnb.org with varying successes, typically getting fastburned.

On June 19, 2025, Boot resigned as an administrator due to thinking that Quote would have eventually removed him and wanting to leave on his own terms (also he just got bored). He hosted a 3 hour Cytube stream where he claimed he would do gemmy raids but in the end there were no raids and the Cytube was also full of mlp shit and other troonslop (it all got skipped doe).
He also held a QnA, where he signed a few jaks and left a very nice message before leaving.[2]
