Fallout

Fallout is a post-apocalyptic role-playing game (RPG) franchise created by Interplay/Black Isle and currently owned by Bethesda Softworks. The series is set in a post-nuclear war America centered around the themes of survival and futurism, particularly retrofuturism.
Fallout 1
[edit | edit source]
Absolute A24 slowburn gem.
Fallout 1 was released in 1997. The Vault Dweller of Vault 13 is sent into the irradiated wasteland to find a replacement water chip after the one in the Vault malfunctioned. After a lot of looking around, you eventually find the chip in a place called Necropolis which is full of humans who have degenerated physically and mentally from radiation exposure called Ghouls, a species notable for going feral. you also discover a group of aggressive, dumb, subhumans that talk dumb (mostly) and are green here. After you return to your Vault and give them the chip the overseer sends you back into the wasteland to stop the threat of mutants replacing humans. In Los Angeles you discover a cult who are attempting to "evolve" humanity to better adapt to the wasteland, radiation, and other niggerhell conditions. They are led by the Master, who has a somewhat complex ideology you can learn more about in video essays. You stop him (or join him if you believe in his flawless plan) and the Overseer kicks you out because you're too keyed from your time in the wasteland. In this game, and Fallout 2, you can kill children, getting you the Childkiller perk, which sends bounty hunters after you, however children were removed from international releases. Fallout 1 has many skills, most of which are useless. Just go with small guns (never mind the fact it encompasses all guns except for 3) and maybe unarmed if you're feeling special.
Liked by trannies and chuds alike for its kino writing and generally fun combat, unless you're a caca who can't learn to press buttons other than WASD and Left Mouse.
Fallout 2
[edit | edit source]Gemmiest RPG of all time even doe its full of cringe 90s pop humor.
Released in 1998, Fallout 2 takes place 80 years after the events of Fallout 1. The Chosen One, a descendant of the Vault Dweller from FO1, must search for a GECK (Garden of Eden Creation Kit) to save your dying, drought-stricken village. During your journey, you will uncover a plot by the Enclave, which is the remnants of the U.S. federal government, who are trying to genocide every literal amerimutt, including you. You stop them by nuking the Enclave, which is stationed on an oil rig. There's a lot of side content to this game, like, probably more than any other fallout or something. Some of the more noteworthy things you can do are: Be raped by a Super Mutant. Have your wife's brain be extracted so that a robot may use it. Be a faggot. Work for one of four crime families and help them win a useless nigger war against the other gangs. Help the NCR manifest destiny. Help a ghoul with all the flies in his house. Have everyone in your party die to 6 jillion creatures like wanamingos or deathclaws. Be in a porn. Eat your own mutated toe. Be drugged and raped by (((Myron))) (HE IS A JOO ev&doe he's ginger.) Fallout 2 introduces The NCR, before it was corrupted by the Brahmin Barons. Only thing of note relating to skills with this game is that outdoorsman is far more useful so you don't get killed by millions and millions of wanamingos.
Spin offs
[edit | edit source]Between FO2 and FO3, there were a couple of SNCA games that only Nophono has ever played.
- Fallout Tactics - Hidden gem or something. You control a team of characters using tactics & strategy or something. You join the Brotherhood of Steel in Midwest US to fight the bad guys. Considered to be semi-canon, since a lot of lore in future games is based on this game. The Brotherhood of Steel would play even major roles in succeeding games.
- Fallout Brotherhood of Steel - This game does not exist and Nophono cares. It doesn't exist and you will take your meds and not research further.
Fallout 3
[edit | edit source]
After the acquisition of the Fallout IP by GODD Howard in 2004, Bethesda began development of Fallout 3 at the same time as Oblivion.
Because of this, many people find these games to be similar.
Released in 2008, Fallout 3 is the first game in the series to take place on the East Coast of the United States, specifically in Washington, D.C. The Lone Wanderer, a Vault 101 resident, escapes his vault to search for his father, who suddenly abandoned him in the vault where, supposedly, nobody enters, and nobody leaves. During your journey, you discover that your Vault is one big psyop and that your father was actually an illegal immigrant who entered the vault because he's a doctor and Vault 101 has been Refugees Welcome for some time now. In reality, he has been working to provide free drinking water to the people of Washington through a project called Project Purity, located at the Jefferson Memorial. The Enclave, although destroyed in Fallout 2, somehow returned and is trying to seize the project to kill everyone instead. The game ends with you reclaiming Project Purity from the Enclave with the help of Liberty Prime and the Brotherhood of Steel, and you sacrifice yourself for the greater good, o algo. UNLESS YOU HAVE BROKEN STEEL, WHICH WAS MADE IN RESPONSE TO CACA CLITTY LEAKAGE OVER THE ENDING. Also you could cause TND by poisoning Project Purity. Bethesda dumbed down skills to a point where we can list the ones featured in game! How exciting! They are: Barter, Big Guns, Energy Weapons, Explosives, Lockpick, Medicine, Melee Weapons, Repair, Science, Small Guns, Sneak, Speech, and Unarmed. Did you find all that linking funny? I hope so.
Unlike Fallout 1 and 2, Fallout 3 is a fully 3D game that is more accessible to 'teens.
This is also the first game to introduce the radio feature, so you can listen to gemmy music from way before the invention of the Sharty. Some gems include Anything Goes, Rhythm for You, and Jazzy Interlude. Unfortunately, this game features a song, Butcher Pete Part 1, which would go on to become one of the worst and most overused songs in later games.
/v/fags have an extreme case of clitty leakage whenever this game is mentioned, which (you) can use it to mine seestheralds.
Fallout New Vegas
[edit | edit source]
Fallout New Vegas, developed by Obsidian (formerly Black Isle) and released in 2010, is set in Las Vegas, Nevada. A return to the West Coast, New Vegas builds upon the world of Fallout 1, and especially 2, taking place 40 years after Fallout 2.
New Vegas is centered around a Courier who has been given a mysterious package that results in him being mugged and shot in the head. After a miraculous recovery thanks to a local doctor, the Courier sets out on a journey to discover what happened to him and where his package is. During your journey, you are thrown into a massive political power struggle for the Mojave, and you can watch endless lore videos on JewTube to learn all about it.
There are 3 groups you can help win this struggle. Mister House, who runs the titular New Vegas, a place where NCR citizens can lose all their money on the various attractions Vegas has to offer, such as gambling, prostitutes, and drinking. Mr. House is over 200 years old and was a business tycoon that made most of America's robots before the Great War. The New California Republic are a "democracy" that has been taken over by the brahmin barons. They're incredibly incompetent and underequipped, and control the Hoover Dam, barely. If you like them, you're a troon. Caesar's Legion is, in the words of it's leader, Caesar (but not that one) a "Nationalist, imperialist, totalitarian, homogenous culture that obliterates the identity of every group it conquerors."🗝️ They have the strongest army in the game, and VVILL win the Second Battle Of Hoover Dam without player intervention. There is just one small issue with them though, and it's that Caesar has a brain tumor. Thankfully, with the power of soyence, you can fix this, and ensure the Legion wins. If you don't cure Caesar's tumor, Legate Lanius takes over, and though he is a badass, he sucks as a leader. If you piss off all 3 of these groups, there is a safety barrier so you aren't softlocked, known as Yes Man. Yes Man, and an independent New Vegas, are coal. Unless you are a part of the Brotherhood of Steel, Boomers, Powder Gangers, Goodsprings, or Primm, you're life is actively made worse by an independent New Vegas.[It just IS ok?] In terms of skills, they combined Small Guns and Big Guns into just Guns, and added the Survival skill, so you can be cool and rugged be a fatass that heals by eating lots of chips.
New Vegas was virtually unplayable on launch, and is still a chore to play without extensive modding. Unfortunately, its modding scene is a trannyfest and full of niggerhell brimstone, like Fallout: The Frontier
This game, like Fallout 4, has only two main radio stations, unlike Fallout 76 and Fallout 3, which have three radio stations. This time, one consistently plays Frank Sinatra and similar tracks, while the other plays Marty Robbins songs and other Western tracks.
Additionally, there is a mod called Tale of Two Wastelands which combines Falllout 3 and New Vegas into a single game, allowing you to explore both the Capital and Mojave Wasteland. You can choose which game you want to start in (the game recommends FO3), and you get to keep your stats and gear when traveling to the other.
Fallout 4
[edit | edit source]
The most popular game in the franchise.
Developed and released by Bethesda in 2015, Fallout 4 returns to the East Coast and is set in Boston, Massachusetts.
Unlike what is written everywhere, Fallout 4 will NEVER be an RPG. Fallout 4 is primarily a first-person shooter set in an open world, and is more similar to Far Cry, not RPGs like Neverwinter Nights or something.
Set 10 years after the events of Fallout 3, and loosely based on the events in 3, Fallout 4 is centered on a pre-war veteran or housewife who survives the nuclear holocaust by making it to a Vault just in time, only to be cryogenically trollfrozen by the Vault. Sometime later, you are suddenly thawed and watch your spouse get murdered by glowies, and your caca get kidnapped. After even more time, you are once again thawed out due to the Vault running out of power, and leave the Vault to seek whoever murdered your wife and kidnapped your child. During your journey, you venture through Boston while searching for your caca, but discover a technocratic faction that is making walking dolls that think they are human known as "Synths", and kidnapping people to experiment on them, and replacing them with said Synths. They got rid of skills, which people dilate about sometimes.
Criticized by some fans for abandoning the richer LORE and worldbuilding of Fallout 1,2, and New Vegas, the game is, nonetheless, non-linear like New Vegas and allows you to do whatever you like (for the most part). Others say that both chuds and trannies hate this game, but only real ones know that FO4 is the best game in the franchise.
Like New Vegas, Fallout 4 is very buggy, and Bethesda breaks it with each update. Again, you VILL only install essential mods for fixing bugs, improving performance and (optionally) visuals. There is a modding guide called "The Midnight Ride" made by the same creators of Viva New Vegas.
This game would feature the definitive worst song in any of the Fallout games, Pistol Packin' Mama by Bing Crosby, alongside pretty gemmy songs like Right Behind You Baby, Crawl Out Through the Fallout, Sixty Minute Man, and The Wanderer.
Fallout 76
[edit | edit source]
Formerly Coal, now it's a redeemed Gem[Marge...].
Trannies hated it at launch for being buggy and a cashgrab and not having a heckin story!!! (Ev&doe it has multiple. Also it has one more faction than Fallout: New Vegas, haha.) It also didn't have NPCs at launch, which was lame. Bethesda were later added in the Wastelanders update. Todd Howard said that it had "16x the detail as Fallout 4" to which people who form an opinion on a game before playing it made fun of, ev&doe it literally does have 16x the detail as Fallout 4[it just is, ok?].
The game takes place in West Virginia, but later updates added map expansions into Shenandoah National Park and OHIOOOO!!! Also you can launch a nuke and fight giant monsters which is cool. Other than that, it's only covered by Video Essay Channels that make 10 hour "Why Fallout 76 failed" (ev&doe it didn't) videos.
Grand Finale and Foundation's Revenge are the only good weapons (though Bunker Buster is pretty gemmy too), make sure you transform into a ghoul as soon as possible. Try to grind the Moonshine Jamboree and Safe & Sound public events for the best moonshine for strength boosts and CAMP items respectively, as much as you can. Also the events that can start when nuking certain parts of the map are pretty fun, especially A Colossal Problem.
This game has the largest selection of radio tracks, and has three radio stations, like Fallout 3. For some reason, Appalachia Radio has songs from the early 1900s to the 1960s. Who cares.
