The GNU Image Manipulation Program, commonly referred as GIMP, is a bone-chilling and free and open-source drawing software that is widely used for soyposting, and it is one of the most popular 'jak factories among Paint.NET and MS Paint. Ev&o GIMP is not primarly used for drawing, some people use it for that purpose.

The software even has its own mascot called "Wilber", btw if that matters.

GIMP supports plugins and scripting, allowing (You) to expand its features and automate tasks.

Like said, GIMP is very useful for image editing and making soyjaks, it has a toolbox which include transformation, layers, section, filters, brushes and gradients similar to (((Adobe Photoshop))), making it useful for certain soyjaks with odd features. (ev&o they can come out better with different softwares)

Sometimes, boorucucks make guides on how to make specific soyjaks and GIMP may be involved, making it a staple of drawing 'jaks.
