Soyjak Party Enhanced, Sharty Enhanced or Soyjak Party Gemhanced is a browser extension made specifically for the sharty. Its development started on May 16, 2025. It was made in JavaScript.

Features

For the Post/Reply box

• Soymoji window - A window for easy use of Soymojis.
• Text Formatting window - A labelled window of fonts on the sharty. Included are basic formats, combinations and miscellaneous symbols like Ϫ, >, <, ^ and 'ru embedding.
• SoyBooru file inserting - A modal for SoyBooru browsing which displays results of the typed tags. Found next to the other filetype options on soyjak.st.^[Optional]
• Email options list - A drop-down added to the email field which contains options: BUMP!, SAGE!, SUPERSAGE!, Anonymous, Anonymous SAGE!, Nonoko and (none).
• Preview of text formatting - A button that shows an overlay that displays how text and Soymojis will look upon posting.^[Optional]
• Character and line counter - A counter inside the preview button counting characters and lines inside #body.^[Optional]

Other features

• World clocks and user activity estimation - Clocks showing times in different parts of the world, and an estimation of activity underneath.
• Sound notifications for inactive tabs - Sounds that can be enabled which play when a new reply is detected, comes with 4 pre-loaded sounds and a custom sound option.
• Custom backgrounds - Option for uploading a custom background to the site.
• Custom header links - You can add your own custom board links (for example, /gem/) or off-site URLs on the boards header.
• Theme adaptation - SPE will try to adapt and look like your chosen theme, however this makes it unreadable sometimes - so there's an option to revert to a basic style and no transparency.
• Advanced Soyquoting - The [Quote] button is replaced with four smaller ones for >, <, ^ and deleting all quotes.
• Admin/Mod badges - Badges next to title names, similar to the 'ki on the main site.
• Update checking - Checks for SPE updates on GitHub.

Installation

To install this extension, currently you can only find it on the Firefox Add-ons store, however you have to install it manually for chromium based browsers.

For Chrome/Chromium based browsers

• Step 1: Go to the extension manager or just "chrome://extensions/"

• Step 2: You must click the "Developer Mode" switch because the extension is unsigned.

• Step 3: Drag and drop the SPE .zip file into the extensions tab.

Done! Chrome is going to whine and be an annoying faggot because you imported an unknown extension or something but ignore that shit. You should switch to aryanfox

Chrome support has been re-enabled since update v3.0.0 with a move to Manifest V3

For Firefox (and forks)

Installation for Firefox has been made much easier since the extension is available on their store.

Manual installation

It's difficult to install it manually without the Add-ons store on Firefox. Nobody knows why, but they removed the option to install unsigned extensions on normal Firefox. Because of that you have to use: Firefox Developer Edition (recommended), Firefox Nightly or Firefox Extended Support Release (for the Windows 7 and under aryans).

After you install these, follow these steps:

• Step 1: Visit "about:config" and search for "xpinstall.signatures.required". Double click to set it to false.

• Step 2: Go to add-ons manager or "about:addons" and click the gear icon.

• Step 3: Select "Install Add-on From File..." and find the SPE .zip file. Done.

For the Userscript Fork

• Step 1: Install Violentmonkey
• Step 2: Download the userscript from its page (i.e. https://github.com/hoo-d/soyjakparty-enhanced) by clicking the appropriate link
• Step 3: It will open a tab. Click "install"
