February '26

• February 24 - The site gets redesigned and the Nuuru is released. verionn is demoted from approver after begging to be demoted. Coemskong, whateveryouwant and MazelTV are made janitors.
• February 27 - Broot is repromoted to moderator officially. MenstrualCykill is made a janitor, XC is made an approver and dap is promoted to moderator.
• February 28 - A post on the forum is made to ban Obsidian for spamming Gigamilk everywhere which quickly gets up to 132 pages in 2 hours.

March '26

• March 1 - dap gets demoted to janitor by Quote for calling the site 'unmoderated shithole' despite being a mod, shortly after, he gets demoted to trusted after announcing his partial retirement from the 'ru.
• March 2 - Turrican and MazelTV are promoted to moderators.
• March 4 - Root returns as a mod. You can now register new accounts again.
• March 5 - The plap king returns, Broot and cat become administrators of the Boorum.
• March 11 - MenstrualCykill is demoted from janitor for rejecting posts of fat babyjak in a bra, resulting in emerald taking his spot. MarketPliers is promoted to janitor, much leakage ensued.
• March 12 - JimboClittyLeakageArchive is promoted to moderator.
• March 13 - epx7fclhdrp ^(GillKoyim) is unbanned globally by Quote.
• March 24 - Gold is permabanned from the booru
• March 25 - Friends and enemies system is added. MarketPliers gets temp banned for taunting Quote on his decision not to ban furries. BBQ is also demoted to trusted.
• March 28 - Jimbo is demoted to trusted due to inactivity.
• March 29 - Metro2033 is banned for being a cordmonkey.

• March 31 - An infamous visual bug regarding to the "comment reaction feature" has been patched.

April '26

• April 1 - April Fools hits the 'ru, NAS of any kind is allowed, a currency system called Boints is added where it is earned from gambling from a roulette wheel, users can use it to purchase post frames, avatar frames, changing the names people they don't like and site-wide banner announcements. Homestuck takes over the 'ru for 10 minutes, followed by Brootists. A clan system was added where users could purchase a clan with 2,000 boints, the existing ones were "BDL (Broot Domme League)", "Furcord", "Mareclave" and "HIGH ROLLER DIAL 1-800-GAMBLER".
• April 2 - The "NAS Futurism" update is instated by cobblestone, allowing any and all nas: or media: posts to be uploaded as long as they are properly tagged and segregated, with new toggles to disable the extended NAS and media content added to user settings. The update was later amended to only include Sharty-related NAS.
• April 4 - emerald acquires the variant:vlodson 1000 GET, turning it into a main variant.
• April 5 - SoyBooru's 200000 GET is taken by a nuvariant spammer. deuterium is made a booru moderator.
• April 6 - cobblestone announces the experimental Artworks gallery to replace the media part of the NAS Futurism update, which allows NAS OC to be uploaded to the Booru by artists.
• April 7 - Thub is demoted and banned after being exposed as a pedophile porn artist.
• April 8 - The longest forum shitflinging so far takes place, involving Warrior-Z, FunnyBenny18, Muscular_engineer, and others. The spam duel lasted for more than ten hours and racked up 40k+ replies. noname gets permabanned from the 'booru.
• April 11 - dap requests to be permabanned, his wish temporarily gets granted after posting DNB, got unbanned and demoted.
• April 12 - Gededarmawicaksana@gmail.com aka Creator is found to have an mpreg fetish deviantart account.
• April 13 - Continuation of the above takes place.
• April 14 - cobblestone anonymously uploads a 4 minute long video of a banana morbidmutt with the peanut butter jelly time theme playing throughout it. It was secretly embedded at the 2:55 mark with a disclaimer telling approvers to not approve the post, people that approved the post (Yorzhik, Zonky, JimboClittyLeakageArchive, MenstrualCykill, supersagecoal, bigsneed, Vashkentya, and Broot were publicly shamed and demoted, some users were repromoted but handicapped of their approval privileges, Broot got away unscathed, except for his ego though. Sawoot resigns from jannying.
• April 15 - Supreme is promoted to approver inciting a spam war on the boorum that has been locked to almost about 5,000 pages.
• April 20 - Rot is banned for 3 days, but appeals and gets unbanned 30 minutes after.. XX_IwajuGoyim_XX asks namefags for thigh pics in the boorum and ends up uploading a photo of his socks.
• April 21 - Fen is demoted to janitor. Funnybenny18 is promoted to moderator.
• April 24 - finocide gets banned permanently for suicide baiting, later changed to one day.
• April 25 - Trollio gets permabanned for being a cordnigger and leaks on xitter about it.
• April 26 - finocide gets permabanned for posting pedobrim alongside fuggin_jerd. Nobody1 gets demoted from janitor and stripped of all his roles.
• April 28 - A new user starts spamming "snca" in Boorum threads randomly.
• April 29 - Namefags like XX_IwajuGoyim_XX and FunnyBenny18 join in. All thread spam is banned on the Boorum.
• April 30 - TwnkH8er resigns as moderator. Zonky is promoted to forum moderator. Several namefags, including Aryan_warrior, Unscerost, and 167 are hit with a one day ban due to alleged use of bots, though the latter two were unbanned later on.

May '26

• May 1 - Beni gets called out in a thread for retweeting Invincible goons, which then leads to other namefags getting exposed for their shit. Aryan_warrior gets permabanned for attempting to bot while going after Muscular_engineer and attempting to "make an offsite group to raid people he doesn't like." Broot is promoted to Global Administrator.
• May 2 - Peruvian_Chud gets permanished for one day by cobblestone for calling lolicoon bralatinxgger slopjaks "aryans" while logged out. HOTDOGHEAD_ADMIN ^(DOLL) is promoted to forum moderator.
• May 3 - sprnurse, John8_44, and MissCircleLargeBreast are permanently banned from the Soybooru by Quote himself for being faggots.
• May 4 - The 222222 GET is claimed by tranime babyjak. Beni gets banned for ban evading on an account named Burgethag that was allegedly accused of being a failtroll due to a post that was related to them. He has since been unbanned and apologized in a thread.
• May 6 - Metro2033 is unbanned and re-promoted to approver as well as ScientoloJu being unbanned later.
• May 7 - CrossChalk admits to being B_B_GHAST this whole time and drops a SNCANVKE that he's not gonna ack eventually. nobaldi is made an approver.
• May 8 - Oscari gets permabanned. An expose thread about a moderator posting lolicon gets created, and starts a massive argument which lasts for at least 7 hours.
• May 9 - MenstrualCykill is promoted to booru moderator, Vergilius is promoted to forum moderator, Nabbv is promoted to global moderator. Vale is promoted to forum moderator. MenstrualCykill, emerald, and a few others are demoted. Long-time jannies GemersonLakeAndPalmer and Sectionalism are demoted. custard cites restructuring as the reason.
• May 10 - Supreme is demoted to trusted for approving Shoyta. Michaelvirus spreads rapidly all over the 'log (from a xitter post btw if that matters). cat gets promoted to Global Administrator. nobaldi's zellig post briefly becomes the most controversial post second only to Soytan, reaching 27 updoots and 27 downdoots within only 6 days after being posted.
• May 11 - Posts are currently closed for 3 hours with the last post being an Impish Ball PoyoPoyo gif. cobblestone announces a ban on low-effort merch spam, flagspam, coloring book spam, etc Eshelionite acquires the 800000 GET on the forum. jjj, Applejack, and BigBrian are banned as a result of evanescence ^(Limeade) being banned and the Bronycaust.

• May 16 - The 230000th GET is taken by a Rika Furude post. greenfag is demoted to trusted after approving a 12 minute long post without watching it fully.
• May 17 - Dove is perma'd, but gets unbanned minutes later. Supreme is banned for 3 days after reacting :omgsisa: to posts about child rape.
• May 20 - Supreme is unbanned. CymraegI1 aka WelshGOD on /pol/ gets perma'd for showing dick pics of himself before turning 18. SerChuddieTheStrong gets demoted for approving babyjak porn that had "childlike proportions."
• May 21 - nobaldi is demoted for complaining under a pregnancy fetish post instead of approving it. Rodolfina1932 is permabanned for retweeting shoyta on xitter.
• May 22 - Jimbo returns, but nevermind, custard claims that someone "tricked" him into giving the account to them. Supreme goes into hiding, leading many to speculate that the account has been sold. OdessanBvll gets banned for being underage.
• May 23 - Muscular_engineer gets permabanned for botting for 8 hours straight after VitaminDeficiency provoked him. Aryan_warrior gets unbanned. Spanish_Chud gets demoted after approving a controversial post. nobaldi’s zellig post becomes the #1 controversial post on the 'ru. Broot sees beefsoup's comment where he depicted himself fucking Broot's mother and decides to delete it and edit his bio to make him say he's a BBC slut and he spends the next few hours seething at Broot as a result.
• May 24 - Warrior-Z and Dove chimp out at each other for an hour straight.
• May 25 - Peter reveals himself to be Sucre, Mist, and tenor in a thread he made on the 'ru.
• May 26 - 7Zip gets banned for pedo jokes.
• May 27 - Major restructing begins by custard. Ethan, JasonBriggs, andyverse, Fen, Vergilius, MazelTV, quiddy, Rot, deuterium, and Sucre (Peter is still Mod however) are demoted, while Coemskong is promoted to Mod and MenstrualCykill is repromoted to Mod. Mustard annouces that he will be removing the Janny role on the Soybooru, and that anyone who had it will be promoted or demoted Mustard drops a truthnuke, revealing that the Soybooru is twice as popular as the Sharty. Led by cobblestone, the Boorum raids the Swinny and several other splinters. This caused major leakage from Swinny users, and resulted in the sites ban list being flooded. This may very well be the first Soybooru win raid in the history of the site.
• May 29 - The 1M GET on the Boorum is achieved, stating that "TFD WILL HAPPEN"
• May 30 - Limeade leaks a whole bunch of internal sharty stuff on the shiwi. The SoyBooru-relevant parts of this leak are that he claimed that Ronald secretly develops and administrates the Nuuru, which was originally developed as an iFunny clone called "SoFunny" or "Memeburger", and even vibe coded it with Claude Code. He also leaks source code and screenshots of said very early version of the Nuuru, which reveals the Nuuru is written in C# and confirmed the long-held Nuuru vibe coding rumors.
• May 31 - epx7fclhdrp ^(GillKoyim) gets banned for rule 3. New LGBTQ+ Month UI is made.

June '26

• June 1 - LarpBait, a notable Shiwi namefag, joins the 'ru and gets promoted to global moderator. LvivanBvll is promoted to approver.
• June 3 - finocide is unbanned for whatever reason.
• June 4 - Quote changes epx7fclhdrp's ^(GillKoyim) ban reason to "Tried to dox me."
• June 5 - beefsoup becomes an approver. Broot would get his ability to "see samefags and chudfags" revoked because he exposed someone for drawing gay porn, but Quote would later give him these permissions back.
• June 6 - The source code for a newer version of Nuuru, after it was converted from an iFunny clone to a SoyBooru rewrite, is leaked on the shiwi. Exel_looking_for_Zemmies is promoted to approver.
• June 7 - 7Zip gets permabanned for saying "Right!" to being a pedophile.
• June 8 - finocide gets permabanned, but the ban was later changed to a week long ban by Quote, stating in the ban reason that it was his "last chance."
• June 9 - GemersonLakeAndPalmer gets the 100,000th post in the blog subforum of the Booru forum.. The 1111111th forum post get is taken by Asoori. Boorufags do a little a raid on the nunununununununununuShemmy, which later then dies because of a falseflag of Wordsalot and obvious lurkers. funnyman is promoted to approver
• June 10 - Boorubugs raid the Swinny again, which causes some leakage that Swinny namefags come onto the thread. The gallery/'log completes 3-5 days of being partly full of vantayellow brimstone due to shitflinging between some namefags. olgolistheshitskin admits to being trevor and gets banned. Kazakh_soy, silohpso_, and Wow are promoted to approver.
• June 11 - Root turns purple.
• June 12 - GemersonLakeAndPalmer braps up a thread on the Broom/Boorum seething and leaking his clitty over uncapitalized letters and ends up being forumbanned/blocked temporarily. Ethan gets permanently banned for offsiting. MymyWABAG is promoted to approver, along with former approver nobaldi who is re-promoted to approver after being demoted on May 21st.
• June 14 - Controversy erupts over posts that depict white people as pedophiles, due to them allegedly having pro-pedophilia messaging. gemming is temporarily banned for reacting :giga: to a post depicting Gold as a pedophile. Gold is permanently banned AGAIN, for self inserting as the MAP swinnyaryan because he was mad about it existing.
• June 15 - cobblestone fat fingers a post of Aryan_warrior's self insert and features it on accident, deciding it should stay because "he deserves" it. finocide is unbanned, only to be permabanned 8 hours later by Warrior-Z for Rule 3, this time it's permanent. Eshelionite is promoted to approver.
• June 16 - 7Zip is permanently banned by cobblestone again, this time for posting failtroll memes on Kiwi Farms. MenstrualCykill retires from the booru due to 'jakking fatigue.
• June 17 - Veiron 'quits' the ru for the second time in recorded history. This is followed up with tons of people creating joke threads in a similar vain. Creator becomes approver by Quote. H3K becomes the first namefag to ever reach 10,000 reaction score. Referendums and polls are added
• June 18 - Gold is unbanned.. Creator, maz, Garf and Svejk1914 are promoted to approver. Toilet-G is promoted to booru moderator and Dove promoted to forum moderator. 1.2 Million GET on the Boorum is achieved. Infamous 'Ru "Foid" Gooner begins to DM people videos and pictures of her playing with feces after being banned from both the Boorum and the 'Ru. This leads to rules for DMs being created, and an option to block your enemies from messaging you. Porn Padding is banned
• June 19 - soysneed gets demoted to trusted after being inactive for 9 months. His name also becomes purple like Root. muscular_engineer gets demoted to user for trying to get the site taken down.
• June 20 - autisticnuswa1488 links FPE porn from Discord on comments and PMs, causing a lot of discourse about if sending these links is normal. A big poll was held about this also I guess. lolkekkeklmaolmaolmaoxdhaha turns purple. Roblox discussion in the forum. Creator is demoted to trusted
• June 21 - Posting images and videos of feces is now banned. GemersonLakeAndPalmer gets demoted for publicly refusing to approve a post.
• June 22 - GemersonLakeAndPalmer gets the 250,000 GET with an image of nobaldi ACKing with the Belarusian flag, which was created in response to nobaldi getting GemersonLakeAndPalmer demoted for publicly refusing to approve a post (which is ironic because nobaldi got demoted for the exact same reason on May 21st). Many hanging troonjaks were made of nobaldi most of which were deleted by cobblestone for flagspam. MenstrualCykill, a former moderator, is banned by cobblestone for being underage.
• June 23 - Hate is pr.om.oted to approver. Gooner is perma'd for posting scat porn. A Boorum thread is made to permaban cobblestone from SoyBooru. Obsidian is definetely perma'd for making a pedophilic joke logged out. beefsoup asks to get banned, and his will was executed when he broke Rule 3. However, he was unbanned later by Broot because beefsoup's pfp contained a 'cord link to his server, and it was removed by changing his password manually and he was banned; again according to cobblestone, the server was SNCA until soycorders started flooding it, which is why admins had to ban him. Nu update where you can show your badges (as if you can't tell by your role and profile) and even your affirming genders!
• June 24 - The referendum banning cobblestone fails to pass.
• June 25 - ___ is demoted after approving a Soylita post, Eshelionite, Wow, and metatagme are also demoted.
• June 26 - General & Off Topic on the Boorum reaches 1,000,000 posts. The referendum banning custard collected 76% "Yes", but didn't get implemented. funkydealer uploads Smuglet with a BBC in her mouth, and is subsequently banned by Warrior-Z for "Posting smuglet 'P. He is then unbanned by mustard, as he believes Smuglet isnt loli. cobblestone announces that Smuglet is banned from being posted on SoyBooru. A referendum banning Babyjak porn is passed. Lolkek comes back and uploads a bunch of 'tosses.
• June 27 - "Pedo" is now filtered (an error occurs when attempting to make a post containing the word). custard enacts the admincaust, cobblestone, Warrior-Z, Broot, cat are all demoted. Nobeidore floods the 'log with Leviathan.
• June 28 - Democratic elections for senate have officially begun with a ton of users running campaigns for senate in the forums and the gallery. Quote also retires from the Soybooru, leaving custard as the one and only admin. Broot resigns as moderator.
• June 30 - Posts about the upcoming Senate elections are banned in the gallery. Violations results in a 1 day ban.

July '26

• July 1 - Senate elections begin. John8_44 and Thub are unbanned. A thread about Aryan_warrior talking about his rape blows up, with many speculating on if he was actually raped or not.
• July 2 - After much anticipation and speculation Aryan_warrior makes a thread officially discussing and answering questions about his sexual interaction with his cousin. However the only new relevations to come from this thread was that (he did not know what pegging meant ) Warrior-Z and Jersey fight each other in a boorum post that reaches 1200+ posts. Warrior-Z would later join the IRC to argue with funkydealer about him "posting a sexual depiction of Smuglet.", leading to him making a thread where he would debate with lolkekkeklmaolmaolmaoxdhaha (the thread would eventually turn into shitflinging, with users posting completely unrelated images). The spam in this thread last for 15 hours straight, garnering nearly 38k replies, as the anti spam rule doesnt seem to be enforced in the thread after custard allowed it in this one thread and only that one.

• July 3 - After falsely banning isaac33, Warrior-Z is briefly demoted to Booru Moderator, but has since been repromoted back to Global Moderator.

• July 4 - Gold is laughed at by the forum for not understanding what senators do (or even how the senate works) despite being the top candidate. The senate election is closed, with the winners being Gold, Hate, H3K, CobsonTALKS, Aryan_warrior, and Coemskong, all the senators except one are given magenta names. Gold is forcibly removed as senator by custard after 4 hours on the senate, being replaced by Funnybenny18. Poopocaust occurs, and cobblestone, Titanlum Soymask and supersagecoal are all perma banned by Mustard for posting depictions of poop. All are then later unbanned except for cobblestone
• July 5 - As a result of the poopocaust, custard reformed how the senate process works. Everyone who was banned for poop would also be unbanned with all former referendums getting wiped out MissCircleLargeBreast is unbanned. cobblestone is promoted back to moderator but she herself does not know why, later removed and given the former admin role (trusted permissions) EPI is now wordfiltered to "ayepie".
• July 7 - The senate is dissolved by custard. blackjak gets banned for saying that Niko from OneShot 'in reality would be reading a book on how to enact BNWO" under one of the posts with this character who is actually 8 years old.
• July 8 - Warrior-Z is temporarly forum banned for spam by custard for 15 minutes. He is then demoted to Booru Mod from Global Mod again.
• July 9 - SerChuddietheStrong posts his hecking penis to the Boorum. Margarine_Man gets permabanned for attempting to dox a bunch of people by sending IP grabbers.
• July 10 - Gooner is permanently banned AGAIN by custard with the ban reason stating "Tell your masters to send their grooming victims elsewhere" because she had sent a picture cutting her arm that was promptly deleted, which suddenly made everyone feel bad about it, except for Wordsalot, that wanted to see the photo.
• July 11 - Olgol mass rape occurs, with his reaction score plummeting from 2200 to -1,300 in a matter of hours, likely contributing to nuurumoji reactions breaking. custard added a new rule that ANY and ALL discussion of pedophilia is banned and will now warrant a flat 1 day ban
• July 12 - Uploads are paused for more than an hour, leading many users to believe that custard has finally decided to JSID. "Pedo" is now wordfiltered to "Diddy" like it used to be.
• July 13 - autisticnuswa1488 is finally banned for spamming FPE porn in peoples DMS. CoalFarmerTheBestNamefagInPol gets permabanned for namefagging on a hostile splinter.
• July 14 - Uploads get paused AGAIN. autisticnuswa1488 is unbanned by custard.
• July 15 - Gretathundebarguuu gets permabanned for being a ban evader and a race playing lolicon on Shitter. autisticnuswa1488 is banned by Coemskong for having a FPE porn PFP, but later unbanned so that he could change it (he was not banned again later). Aryan_warrior becomes admin, only to be demoted 2 minutes later.
• July 16 - Uploads yet are paused another time.
• July 17 - Reactions are back
• July 18 - Uploads are paused YET AGAIN, for the fourth time now.
• July 21 - 0l0 reveals that his mother passed away, which then causes some users to make fun of his mother's death because of his snarky and insufferable behaviour.
• July 23 - The 'booru YET AGAIN is down, but other sites aren't. A cloudflare error displayschudrus is permanently banned for rule 2. Multiple people, including autisticnuswa1488, funkydealer, and Randals_Strongest_Warrior are given the new "Contributor" role, with their names being turned red and temporarily had the ability to delete their own comments before this was revoked.
• July 22 - Dove reveals Dysprosium has a BlackedBooru account. Dysprosium later admited that it was his account
• July 24 - Dove and Warrior-Z shit up the Boorum AGAIN because they can't be bothered to do literally anything else. The Dickening: Many namefags, specifically Nabbv and Dooble67, had their TWPs leaked on the Booru. Nevermind, they all used fake pictures. All trusted users have their green usernames changed to grey (for some heckin' reason)
• July 27 - Coemskong accidentally caught the Babyjak virus after trying to download Soot Quest 2 from a shady website. This led to his account and five other namefags being hacked, and they continued bumping the thread for several hours straight. custard tried to stop it by putting Coemskong in babymode, but this proved ineffective. Creator is banned after it was discovered that he had favorited loli porn on his PIXIV account. gapejaks_top_guy gets permabanned for sending links to Femquote loli he got from CoalFarmerTheBestNamefagInPol.
• July 28 - Boints, now renamed Boorubux are readded.
• July 29 - Noubcadi reveals Pepsi47 has a CivitAI account and widdles his tiddle to shota and Yoshi porn. Dove engages in further datamining, finding Pepsi47's Reddit, Minecraft, and Deviantart accounts. Users are now able to feature any post at the cost of 50 boorubux. Mermaid pornography is featured, likely through the aforementioned shop item.
• July 30 - Warrior-Z With the support of many Anti-Smuglet namefags "OFFICIALLY" declares war on smuglet posters and the various 'cords from whence they came, which only guarantee's that this variant will continue to be spammed for months on end instead of dying naturally LIKE IT DID LAST MONTH. All of Baitcord gets leaked by MarketPliers
• July 31 - Due to the Baitcord leak, Dove gets exposed for being the one behind all the Cobblestone guro and fetish porn, with the purpose of slandering Broot.

August '26

• August 1 - JimboClittyLeakageArchive retires from moderator. The janitor role is readded, with nobaldi, Garzon, and pietyWQN receiving promotions. A ten-day moratorium on the upload of pornographic content is imposed.
• August 2 - Fen, nobaldi and pietyWQN are promoted to Global, Booru and Forum Moderator's respectively. Coemskong is demoted for leaking that SirChuddietheStrong and AspieSprokeConsumer are Dove's alts. Peter is promoted to global admin.
• August 3 - Soybooru turns 5! To celebrate, everyone is given Party Hats. Warrior-Z is re-promoted to Booru Admin, later promoted back to Global Admin, alongside jersey. The SoyBooru Anniversary hosted by Mist offically begins. lolkekkeklmaolmaolmaoxdhaha and jersey are now married.^[Marge...]
• August 5 - Mustard got banned by his own rule (pedophilia obsession) xe's unbanned now.^🔒
• August 6 - SoyBooru finally comes back up from the 17 hour server outage, it's revealed the outage was caused by an error in server transfer.
• August 7 - Aryan_warriors_cousin and Aryan_warrior are married! Although this was short lived. Lots of hentai images (specifically of Umineko) is posted on the Boorum. Warrior-Z is demoted after ragebanning Prince_narcissist
• August 9 - Massive Moderator purge occurs, with the following Mods demoted: Rot, cat, Heinrich_Adelmann, Magnus, Toilet-G, andyverse, Jollywally47, Peter, and Turrican.
