Kate Hikes is the female version of Nate Higgers, and is commonly used to represent female Soyteens.

Because Rule 63 entails every fictional character needs to be genderswapped or something, Kate was created to fill this niche. Despite seeing little use in and around the sharty, specialists have called her existence "necessary" and "stunning"[1].
It is speculated that kate was used for multiple Soysphere feminist movements such as "#Soygirls", "#SoyToo" and "#Women can be soyteens too", and all of the described events DID HAPPEN, but all of the evidence of their existence was removed by Froot and other admins[it just is, ok?], with no archives surviving. Kate is used to represent Female Soyteens on the Sharty, being a competitor to Soytan and 'fe Girl. While she has also been used by Trannies to self insert as, troons will never be women so this is SNCA.
Various users have written vantablack niggercoal made up lore for her, because everything on the internet needs that or something. Many imagine Kate as being Nate's sister, Girlfriend and/or both at the same time. (
) Trannies have suggested she is a trans version of Nate, even doe that is categorically false[2].
In general she is used by women who want to replicate the stunning and brave lainpilled/tomokopilled 'femanons' {even though most of them are just larping trannies}

Many have criticized Kate's appearance for being just Nate with a different hair and a hairbow because it obeys traditional gender roles or something- These objections are largely ignored because traditional gender roles are based. Other sources of criticism are her potential NAS characteristics of not having a beard, or that her existence is unnecessary and redundant since women don't browse the sharty and 'fe girl already being used for similar functions. Many experts claim that hatred of Kate and her lack of use stem from internalized misogyny by Soyteens.[it just is, ok?]
