Michael, alongside other nufrogvariants, was first uploaded on May 10th, 2026, by a Xitter user with the caption "We're replacing soyjaks with these".[3] On the same day, Michael was uploaded to the 'Booru and subsequently spammed by a nameclitty, similarly to how Zwedon spammed that one Anton Chigurh post all over the site. As a result, Michael has become a trending subvariant, spanning around 100 posts in less than a week. He is often associated with a copypasta about putting him in your profile for religious purposes.
