Many wikis have safety measures against external links, but if you want to change links so that they lead to something gemmy instead of the intended page, click "edit source", highlight the link you want to change, click the link tool next to the bold and italic tools, and change the "Target page or URL:" to your link. Make sure to leave the "Text to display:" section the same as the original link so that people will click on it thinking it's legit (you can slightly edit it to make sure people don't copy and paste it if you want). You can also change the link of an image by adding "|link=https://example.com" to the file so that, when people click on it, they'll be redirected to your link.

Moving pages/changing display name

Moving pages is gemmy, and you can change the display name of an article by adding {{DISPLAYTITLE:insert funny page name here}} onto a page.

For some reason, if you move a page by adding a / right before the pagename, the page fails to load when being searched up.

Swear filter

Many wikis will often block you from inserting the N-word and other funny swear words into articles. This is easily bypassed by adding comments or empty HTML tags in between the letters, such as gay n<!---->igger association of america and gay n<span></span>igger association of america.

Blanking

Blanking is the act of removing all content from a page. Wikis usually have protection against this in the form of bots which will revert edits which delete large amounts of text, though you can evade them in a few creative ways.

One is by prepending the page with <!--, which will comment out the rest of the page, making it invisible.

On Wikipedia, if you include certain words in your edit (such as Sneed), it will trigger an "LTA 1137", which alerts Wikipedia Janitors that a certain page might've been keyed.[2]
