Many factors could lead to this, including difficulty in finding a hosting service that is willing to tolerate the more controversial elements of the Sharty. Certain fluorescent gentlemen may also seize the Sharty's servers in response to trickery. As of recently this seems the more likely option since Quote stated that he wouldn't sell the site when he is done, instead would shut down in 3 years.
