By the Sharty
Great Cuckset
Main article: Great Cuckset
The biggest hack ever done by the sharty, occurring on April 14-25th and targeting 4chan, the attack was committed by a 'teen who named himself S0I1337 and was dubbed Captain Gem. The hacker exploited 4chans outdated infrastructure and uploaded a script by disguising as a PDF. Captain Gem would then take control of the site, reopening /qa/, leaking the IPs and emails of all the jannies, as well as various other info about the site and its operations. The site was down from April 14th to April 25th, the largest hack in its history.[1]
R/WplaceAntifa hack
A 'teen managed to hack the account of the mod in charge of a Wplace subreddit dedicated to fighting fascism on wplace or something.[2] The subreddit was successfully colonized by 'teens[3] before being taken down by the reddit jannies.
Against the Sharty
Captain Coal's attack
On June 8, 2021, a tripfag known as Captain Coal obtained access to the admin account due to Soot having accidentally leaving the default Vichan admin username and password in use.[4] Under his control, he would delete every board except /soy/ before creating /plier/[5], /CUNNY/[6] and /j/. He would also edit people's posts and names to something insulting along with leaking IPs.
Captain Cob's attack
On July 23, 2023, an individual going by Cobson (or Captain Cob) obtained access to the site through the same method as Captain Coal. This was caused due to Doll having forgotten to remove the default Vichan admin username and password after transferring the site to a new codebase.[7] While under control, he wouldn't do much expect make posts warning Doll about his fuck up.[8]
2026 Soyjak.party hack
On August 11, 2026, at 6:11 AM UTC, a Shiwi user under the name of Zhambyl Tulegbenpenov would claim that the reason behind the 2026 outage and subsequent Second Great Handover was because soyjak.party was hacked and had its source code stolen.[9] In his post he linked the leak in a gofile link. The link contained a 2.6GB file named "vichan.zip" which contains the Sharty's Vichan fork along with some Telegram channel export. Later that day at 3:02 PM UTC, another Kiwi Farms user under the name Femtanyl claimed that the hack was done by a Soycord of failtrolls and that the hacker(s) had exploited an RCE vulnerability within Quote's MPA system.[10] The following days saw 2 subsequent alleged mass leaks of user IPs,[11][12] as well as the discovery of a vulnerability with in the ID hashing algorithm which allowed the retrieval of user IP addresses from ID-enabled threads spanning the period from 2024 to August 13, 2026.[13]
2026 Soyjak Wiki hack
The 2026 Soyjak Wiki hack was an event occurring on August 13, 2026, in which Cobblestone's account was compromised by an individual known as Trinitite or Trinny via a password reset.[14] During xheir brief reign, xhe would wreak havoc upon the wiki, banning jannies and other active contributors, deleting files en masse,[15] and even redesigning the front page to the Jarty Wiki.[16] Shortly afterwards, the wiki went offline, displaying a 502 Cloudflare error to anyone attempting to access it. Salt would then take back control of wiki and banned the faggot, undoing most of the damage caused by them. Salt then stated he wouldn't grant anyone the role of bureaucrat for some time out of concerns for the sites safety.
Conspiracies arose that the hacker was Marketpliers, Quote, Fenriris, or most promisingly, Cobblestone. Salt, however, would debunk the claim that it was Cobblestone, stating to have checked the logs and found no wrongdoing from her.[17]
