Mist

Mist, also known as Mirth, Tenor, Sucre, Cheddar, Peter and @soyjakpartyofficial, was the Manager of Soycraft 2, 3, Manager of Soytopia, Soylent: SOURCE, Soypile host, a soyjak.party Moderator, Soyjak Wiki Janny, and Boorum moderator. He is a Finno-Russian mutt.

Mist was a frequent topic of controversy on the Sharty due to some soyteens accusing his of mismanaging the Soycraft servers, his clashes with Gold, his alleged forcing of Terrible Mouse, and rumors that he is some sort of tranny or foid.

History

Soycraft

An Antique Soycraft II Avant-Garde Critique-Toss' of Mist.

Mist became the Manager of Soycraft 2 on July 28, 2024. he moderated the server alongside "Wind", with Quote being the Developer. On August 2, 2024, Mist announced that "he would be going on holiday", and that another Janny called "Knight" would take over his duties, however, they were inactive - leading to their OP permissions being removed and leaving the server totally unmoderated. SoyCraft players took advantage of this and mass-griefed the server, leading to Quote resetting the server completely. Mist made his return on August 18th, building a new spawn and appointing Wind to help with server moderation. On August 26th, Mist announced The Soycraft Elections, a biweekly event where players can run for President of Soycraft. On September 7th, Mist announced the beginning of the president's plan to build a grand colosseum at spawn, which was completed.

Poot

On the September 24, 2024, Mist would disguise himself as an alter ego called "Poot". He would troll the sharty by acting as a fake troll admin persona, his post was stickied alongside a post with the ## Admin capcode being posted in the fake Q&A thread which had made other soyteens believe the hoax even further.

After a leak of an announcement in /mediator/ Poot would suddenly announce a Q&A together with a grand board wipe on the 24th of September 2024, he would announce that Froot had sold him the Sharty due to him commiting suicide being bored with the imageboard. From the Q&As it can be seen that his jak' is a papaya and he is planning on allowing board creation for soyteens' and for the Party' to become a contender to 4chan.

SoyBooru and Sharty

One of the first tosses' ever made of Mist, made by Rot, context tied to The First Soyanniversary

Mist would become a SoyBooru Janny on the August 11, 2024. his account name on the ru' is "Mirth." An official Soyjak.blog thread was also made by Mist related to discussing the state of The SoyBooru as well as its many happenings. It eventually also became linked on the main page of The SoyBooru. As "Forum."

Mist's Capcode which was introduced as a way for users to detect mod abuse is 89b1 ## Mod. Mist also hosted several official Cytubes on the sharty and one related to the Schlog's anniversary.

The Soyanniversary

On September 13, 2024, Mist hosted the First Soyanniversary event. This lasted 7 days, with the final day being the anniversary day of the Sharty, the 20th, though some contests were prolonged into the 27th. Every day there were new contests, competitions, or other activities being hosted for this event.

There was also a custom CSS and a new board dedicated to discussing tne Soyanniversary, (/soya/) added as a part of the Soyanniversary, the SoyBooru, Soyjak Wiki, and Soyjak Blog would also get some cosmetic changes / new theme for the duration of the event. A couple of "bonus events" would also be hosted for the Soyanniversary, for example, a Mega-Cytube hosted by another member of the staff team, Thanos. his Cytube username is "MistyMist."

Soytopia

On November 1, 2024 a second installment of Soytopia was announced and hosted (not including the unofficial Nutopia) with Mist being the server's manager. A special Soytopia gamenight would also happen for Soyoween 2024, the server received many weekly gamenights, with announcements about them being pinned on /soy/, gamenights usually happen every Friday and Sunday.

Soycraft: MODDED EDITION

On the 13th of November 2024, A poll was opened asking Soycraft players about if they would play on an official modded soycraft server, a week later an announcement was made regarding the launch of a modded server with a 60 mod modpack, with the launch date being set to the 23rd of November.

CS:SOY

With the opening of the /sn/ board, together with a minor Half-Life: Deathmatch server, a Strike: Source official sharty server was also released to the public. It was founded on the 27th of October 2024, the owner of the server is a Soyjak.blog moderator named Steve, with Mist helping in the organization of the gamenights on the Sharty and /sn/.

Soyoween 2024

On the October 29, 2024 Mist would host the "Soy-'oween", a three-day event similar to the previous Soyanniversary, a couple mini-events were announced together with a banner contest.

Dox

Eventually, Mist was faildoxed as Alex Dashin and gave up the persona for a number of alter-egos, Sucre, Tenor, Cheddar, and Peter:

Alter Egos

Tenor

tenor was Mist's first alter ego and the head admin of Soycraft III. His soysona is a variant fusion of Massjak and Impish Meowjak depicting the character Rover from Animal Crossing.

A couple of days before the launch of Soycraft, on the 25th of June 2025 Tenor would make his first capcode post appearance. After the launch of the server on July 1st he would be revealed to be an admin of the server. He has stated to be Australian, however he lives "somewhere else." His ownership of Soycraft has been well-recieved, but many 'jakkers dislike his random hiatuses at times. He has already done many "events" on Soycraft 3, like the Build Back Better event, where he offered 'teens infinite amounts of blocks as long as they gave him a plan for what to build, and the mapart event, where users could submit map art to be placed on a large glass wall surrounding Spawn.

Tenor was also a soyjak.wiki moderator under the username "Rover."

Rivarly with Lucky

After Soycraft became a total DNB due to the server being suddenly shut down for about 5 days, Lucky would dance on Its grave, capcoding in a stickied thread and declaring that Soycraft lost.

This would in turn enrage Soycraft's entire playerbase and form a rivarly with Tenor that goes on to this day. Several soyteens have made artworks featuring this conflict.

Sucre

Sucre was Mist's alter-ego for Soytopia, CS SOY, and Left 4 Soy. Sucre means Sugar in French. Alternatively, Sucre is also the name of the capital of Bolivia and also the former currency of Ecuador.

On the March 27 and 28, 2026, Sucre released new official game servers, Fistful of Soy (A gameserver for Fistful of Frags) and Nusoi Panic! Source (A gameserver for Zombie Panic! Source.)

Soylent: SOURCE

On the 17th of April, 2026 Sucre made an official steam group for the gameserver network called Soylent: SOURCE. A much improved version of the failed project known as the Soyserver Network.

Cheddar

Cheddar was Mist's Shroom alter ego. He originally started out posting as Cheddar until being forced to retire from using the forum by 9a0c. He had previously stated that he was an ex-Schlog user wanting to revisit the site and the community, during his relatively short 4 month time on the website he would try to start a conflict with Broot, calling him out for abandoning the Shroom for an admin position on the Boorum.

Soypile

The Soypile is a collaborative platform which was made for the artfags of the soysphere to draw art together in a canvas, during his time on the Shroom Cheddar hosted multiple Drawpiles which resulted in many artwork gemmies. The drawpiles have continued on after Mist revealed that he was also Peter (acting as Cheddar.)

Departure

On March 27th he would announce his resignation as a staff member of the Shroom. Most shroomers would weep at his departure, not knowing he was forced out by his higherups at the Quotecord to leave the website.

These past three months interacting with what the Schlog once was were really nice.

At that time when Cheddar was made it already had been such a long time since i had used the Schlog or Shroom, but i am glad Cat gave me the chance to be a part of this place in some capacity again. For me to revisit one of my most favorite websites on the internet.

Very soon I must depart and take my leave. Something has forced my hand where I have no other choice than to peacefully leave you guys to keep on having your fun. If i could i would have still been around, but some things are just impossible. I am still very glad i was able to reconnect with the Shroom, i knew Cheddar couldn't go on forever, this feels like more than enough.

Me leaving really doesn't change a thing, but i hope this website keeps on going strong and the userbase will be in one piece even after many years.

Also thanks to all of the people which attended the drawpiles, made fanart of Cheddar, even animations. These were all incredible.

Peter

Peter was Mist's alter-ego for the Boorum.

@soyjakpartyofficial and ties to SPVA

On the April 15, 2026, Mist would make a thread on the Boorum for submissions to the @soyjakpartyofficial tiktok account, as Cobblestone wanted him to involve his Peter persona more with it. The account itself was the topic of several controversies in the past due to soyteens not wanting for the sharty to be promoted on offsite spaces, in just a year the account had earned over 50 thousand followers.

In the same thread he would also reveal having had previously helped out with the Soyjak Party Video Archive primarly making shorts.

He also owns the @SoyjakOfficial Youtube account, which launched as an official alternative to the SPVA in late April 2026 and is the co-owner of the @soyboorucom twitter account.

Quotecord artworks

On the May 11, 2026, Peter released once classified artworks featuring all of the Frootcord's and Quotecord's janitors due to the discord server itself being shut down.

Alter-Egos Revealed

On May 25, 2026 Peter would reveal that he was in fact Mist, Sucre and Tenor. As several days prior, an impersonator had gained access to Jimbo's account, and this account was in a special "secret" groupchat where Peter had revealed all of his alter egos to not have to hide the truth from his closest soysphere friends. Eventually, screenshots had leaked onto the IRC and wiki, and it was better to reveal it early.

Faildox

Nophono cares.

A while ago a screenshot surfaced of a Youtube user purported to be Mist (sharty janny, owner of several sharty game servers) commenting “ZWABAG” under a supposed ‘zellig porn video on the ‘tube. Looking up the account in question brings up a Youtube channel by the name of Alex Dashin, which hasn’t uploaded since June 2023.

How do we know this is Mist? First, Dashin is a Russian surname, and Mist has stated before that xhe is Russian. Second, a video on the channel contains the game The Binding Of Isaac, which Mist is a fan of (xhe wrote a ‘ki page about it once along with some other indieslop). Xhe also has a video about blender, and a few days ago Mist made a 3D slopjak edit of Warrior-Z. All these similarities give good reason to believe that this account belongs to Mist.

Searching up the name Alex Dashin leads to a skool.com page with the same name, featuring a Russian individual bearing very close resemblance to the youtube channel’s PFP.

This account was made in 2023 and states that Alex was 16 at the time, which perfectly aligns with a comment Alex made on one of xis videos that was made in 2019, stating that xhe was around 12 or so years old that year, meaning he would be around 16 years old in 2023 and around 19 years old today. The fact that these two have the same exact name, are both Russian, look very similar, and are the exact same age is just too much of a coincidence, this account also likely belongs to Mist.

According to the account, Alex lived in Zurich Switzerland in 2023 (Mist is now studying in the Netherlands, so xhe likely isn’t in Zurich right now). Looking for individuals named Dashin in Switzerland brings up Vitaly Dashin, a (((financial advisor))) who works at Kaiser Partner in Zurich.

This might very well be Mist’s father, as this seems to be the only other Dashin living in Zurich and Mist is the type of person to have a financial advisor as a father.
