Soyvil War 5 is a conflict that began near the end of Quote's ownership at July 28, 2026 as a result of numerous controversies that month; with some of the most notable being the Furcord leaks, the numerous Smuglet controversies, and a year of discontent at Quote's ownership. Even calling this conflict a Soyvil War is controversial, which shows how divided the soysphere has become. It began like a soysurgency, which has made many people call it the Seventh Soysurgency.

The war has resulted in a lot of changes to the soysphere's administration, with betrayal being common. Some of the most notable events in Soyvil War 5 include leaks of various SoyBooru group chats many have compared to 'cord servers, Quote and various jannies stepping down, Mist leaking many of the soysphere's jannycords and getting fired and permabanned as a result, the sharty and SoyBooru splitting, and Fenriris giving back Soyjak Wiki to Cobblestone.

Pre-war events

Seventh Soysurgency

Bans for pedophile jokes even after administration lifted the restrictions on them

On July 30, 2026, Rule 2 was altered to remove the ban on "pedophilic jokes", causing immediate backlash from every sane soyteen and increased calls for the Fifth Soyvil War. However, some "people" still got 'nished for posting pedophilic jokes, meaning that this rule was at least, still in effect.

Before the change, the rule read:

• You WILL NOT post, promote, or advocate for pedophilia or pedophilic content, including pedophilic jokes.

After the change, it read:

• You WILL NOT post, promote, or advocate for pedophilia or pedophilic content.

Unlike other conflicts where they begun and lasted for a short period, then quickly fell out of relevance, this rule change fiasco would stay constant while other external events would happen.

Issue with the rule redefinition

The Sharty's Rule 2 was modified to mirror the other site's stipulations on the rule, that being the Booru's definition for Rule 2, and the wiki's. This was changed to not cause confusion: jokes about pedophilia in general were dependent on many clauses, such as whether you were doing it as self-mockery (i.e. confessing to being a pedophile) or whether it was slander towards another subject (e.g. calling them pedophiles). Being banned for calling Blue Archive players pedophiles seems rather silly, but saying you're a pedophile regardless of any self-disparaging or "ironic" tone is clearly cause for concern. The issue with this rule's definition is that it defined both under the same clause, as both are pedophilic jokes. This was changed to better reflect how the rule actually functions in moderation.

Understandably, many were confused and were led to believe that pedophilic jokes in all circumstances were allowed. Redefining the rule proved it was poorly defined in the first place—jartyniggers proceeded to assume their "interpretations" of funny jokes were now tolerated leading to a massive wave of spam, with other users and Doctoddlers following suit. This was not helped by the admins refusing to clarify the change and Quote himself already facing burnout; what could have been a completely preventable mass outrage by explaining the rule ahead of time was instead handled in the worst way possible. Further compounding the problem was the horrific timing of the rule change, coming right after rampant Smuglet spam, namefags like Glisterald on this very wiki catching the attention of jannies after calling himself a pedophile on his userpage, and all of this following the Admincaust. Jannies were acting in complete secrecy and bickering among themselves over this as well, serving only to add gallons of fuel to the fire.

The entirety of /soy/ would be catty wiped numerous times, and spam on /soy/ and the IRC was reported as consistent. The Ban list was filled with rule 5 and 13 bans. The massive clitty leakage started on /soy/ and the IRC due to the change of rule 2 But with the catty still mainly wiped, save for a few normalish threads, and a brimstone thread made by the baitcord. Jannies would catty wipe soy, removing protest threads. A lot of anti-quote and anti-mustard posts are moved to /q/.

Spam has been utilized continuously, especially copypasta spam, notably the "Kill Quote" copypasta, as well as Femquote spam in an act of "rebellion against Quote's administration" (they just wanted to goon). However, out of the coal came one gem, one teen began posting some sick ass Hitler edits, boosting morale for the soyteens who were engaged in spam.

Smuglet controversy; Issues with Mustard's administration

Smuglet is a formerly banned, highly controversial nuvariant traced off a Blue Archive meme depicting a chibi character, like how we represent soylent men as template uncolored bald men that don't actually look like men, but caricatures with indistinctive somewhat-androgynous (depending on the variant) face phenotypes - only with the creeping notion that the person forcing the meme has a higher chance than most fandoms, to be a pedophile.

Nevertheless, the variant is used as a form of bait due to the general consensus that Blue Archive is full of diddyphiles. Many people would call for the ban of the variant and treat it to a similar memoryholing as other variants, since the 'booru jannies believed that it wasn't as egregious as those.

As a result of the anti-Smuglet protests, the 'booru jannies halted the uploading of porn to the 'ru for eight days.^🗝️

To this day, you still see Smuglets being posted on the platform, and soyteens still have great distress in the continued existence of the variant, and baiters- colloquially referred to as Baitcord by the community, continue to attempt to provoke many users into the platform by posting Smuglet tosses.

Temporary downtime, soyjak.st hack and change of ownership

Almost all official soysphere sites suddenly went down on August 5, 2026. Many believed that Quote finally decided to JSID, as he once stated after the Cacacaust that he would shut down the site instead of passing it on or selling it once he had enough. The downtime was very devastating to the soysphere, resulting in the swinny getting a bump in activity and Soyjak Wiki losing nearly 2 months of images.

Right after the Soysphere shutdown, IRC was the only branch not to be included on the Cloudflare 1033 tunneling error^🗝️, making ~100 soyteens join #soy and start discussing what even happened. Some users started spamming shitfling and doing massive wall of texts inside the channel., continuing the Soyvil War there.

A copypasta was created by the Soyjak Wiki user "QolaTypeShit" when all the spamming was happening. Some soyteens copied and pasted it massively, but it was all a nothingburger and it didn't managed to catch on.

SoyBooru was the first website to come back on August 6, followed by Soyjak Wiki on August 7 (alTHOUGH on alternate domains first) and finally soyjak.st on August 9, 2026. Quote also steped down as owner, with the new owner of the sharty being an anonymous individual mostly referred to by the soymmunity as Salt (chudchudchudchudchud@protonmail.com). The new owner later effectively banned Averi and Smuglet from the sharty.

The official cause of the downtime was a hard drive failure, but on August 11 the sharty's source code was leaked on the shiwi, with the leaker claiming that the actual cause of the downtime was the sharty getting hacked. The next day an alleged .txt of 2000 IP addresses from sharty posters was leaked. Some interesting things include that over 178 IP addresses belonged to the US Department of Defense, and some other glowie stuff like 1 place in Turkey, another in Australia and an "Internet Research Organization" in Japan.

Furcord leaks

On July 28th, 2026, the Furcord leaks prompted backlash within the Soysphere.

Some users, already unhappy with Mustard and his previous conduct, made numerous threads digging through the leaks, turning them into a major topic of discussion. The Furcord leaks are considered one of the key issues that led to Soyvil War 5.

Some users falsely believed these leaks were somehow proof of Mustard being a "pee dough" but once the leaks were inspected, it came to light that all Mustard did was ask for a fursona and say that "us girls do this" in response to "gooning to males." In fact, the initial version of the Furcord page boldly claimed that Mustard was "indeed a lolicon" with a misinterpreted screenshot, and this was likely due to it being written by TheCatalan1977, who later asked Mustard for the context of said message, and was assured it had nothing to do with little girls.

One of the members of the Furcord, MarketPliers would later leak Baitcord, a similar SoyBooru GC, in a SoyBooru thread. Many moderators and namefags were in it. The leaks itself were hosted in the domain averi.party, which led to suspicion that MarketPliers was a hostile offsiter, with xim being banned from the Sharty and the domain DDoSed. It's still down as of now, but the theme of admins and namefags being massive faggots continues. MarketPliers would later retire from the soysphere, making the status of averi.party unclear.

An accurate portrayal

On August 12, 2026, Salt officially declared war against SoyBooru, and said that raiding SoyBooru namefags would be "exiled to /qa/"; or more formally permanently banned from /soy/. Links to SoyBooru and IRC are subsequently removed from the sharty's topbar, and one of the Smuglet posters, Trollkastel, requests Salt to ban him, which results in Salt requesting his IP addresses and later permanently banning two IPs alleged to belong to Trollkastel from the entire sharty.

Following 'P spam on /soy/, a 'teen would claim that a group of 'ru users in a group chat were responsible. Minutes later, a 'teen believed to be "Larptoko_houjou_fan" on the 'ru leaked four of the group chat pages, unveiling the "Salt Defamation League". The leak spread like wildfire through /soy/, leading to a raid on the 'ru. 'Ru users retaliated by raping most of the threads with Cobblestone's hamster drawing, however soon bailed after some 'teens started to spam gore. A few hours later, AdolfTrumpson, a notable Warrior-Z supporter, attempted to report the site to authorities, which got him banned. 'teens subsequently declared him a martyr.

Salt Defamation League

The Salt Defamation League (SDL) is a group on SoyBooru alleged to be involved in 'p spam on soyjak.party. The groupchat is led by Spongie and consists of several high profile members of the soysphere, including Mustard, Cobblestone, and several other SoyBooru members and namefags. They have admitted to actively falseflagging and derailing threads that allege the 'p spam originates from them. The leader, Spongie, has admitted to posting "the most fucked up shit you've ever seen" and subsequently getting banned. They have also called themselves an animal abuser. In actual fact, the group was just LARPing as Discord users by inviting people to a nonexistent Discord server or making a fake Discord server full of bots, and the 'p spam allegations were all made up. The members of the group leaked their own logs onto /soy/ where it was found to be entirely SNCA slop (at least by those who actually bothered to read the DMs).

Fenriris steps down

Due to the increase in drama across the soysphere and fear of the wiki being shut down, Fenriris stepped down as main admin of Soyjak Wiki on August 12, 2026, with Cobblestone becoming once again the main admin. His statement is too long to put on this page but it is readable here.

'ki hack

On Thursday, August 13, the 'ki got hacked by an individual going by "Trinitite". As a result the website got defaced for several hours with troonslop before Salt woke up and shut down the wiki for a few minutes to ban Trinitite and revert his edits.

Warrior-Z becomes SoyBooru admin

On August 14, 2026, Warrior-Z became the only Global administrator of SoyBooru, leading to Mustard getting demoted^🗝️. He subsequently banned Smuglet, Porn designed to arouse (including padded and traced), and announced the employment of a "Coal Police Division".

Warrior-Z's declaration of war

On July 30th, Warrior-Z declared war against Smuglet posters, baitcord, and Furcord, beginning the conflict across all the Soysphere (especially SoyBooru), and having many users automatically supporting Warrior-Z's actions.

"Gambling" controversy

On the same day, Mustard announced the Boorubux system, which some argued turned the Booru into a gambling site. This caused uproar, leading to some Booru users getting distracted, until someone made a thread pointing it out that was later 404'd. You didn't saw anything, soyteen.

A supposed self-dox was posted by a guy from Tennessee called Liam S. Douglas, which did work as a temporary distraction^{[it just is, ok?snopes?it just is, ok?how???whatbut... why?]}. Whether this was an attempt to distract from Furcord or not is unknown. Some users speculate that Liam S. Douglas is Glisterald himself.^{[it just is, ok?snopes?it just is, ok?how???whatbut... why?]}

Several (((bait))) threads by autisticnuswa1488 and other Soygem Pass posters have also been alleged to be distractions. They commonly consist of Smuglet and FPE SNCA.

Mustard suspends porn uploads on SoyBooru

On August 1, Mustard suspended "pornographic uploads" on the Booru until August 10. Supporters of Warrior-Z, or those wanting to see porn removed from the Booru, quickly celebrated this move.

On August 1, anti-Quotists stole the 16888888 GET on /soy/, a win for the anti-Quotists.

Mist becomes temporary admin for a week

Mustard left the 'ru for a week due to the constant backlashed he recieved, and left the site to Mist for a week, while still having access to its backend. Jersey and Warrior-Z temporarily became new admins, and several users tried to convince Z to ban everything they didn't like. This was considered a distraction in order to calm down soyteens, however, it was futile as Quote lost regardless.

PPH crisis

As the Soyvil War had continued, the PPH of /soy/ had dramatically declined, with it getting below 100 PPH during eurohours and 300 PPH during mutt hours^{[it just is, ok?snopes?it just is, ok?how???whatbut... why?]}, possibly caused by soyteens fleeing to splinters or not being as motivated to post. It should be noted that, since marge.moe shut down, it has been harder to track the decline.

It can also be noted that the low PPH can also be highly attributed to the large amount of bans during the Soyvil War. ...This is important to this Soyvil War, how? If what the article is saying that there was mass flooding and spam and shit constantly, how the fuck could the PPH be low? Fix, refute and rewrite this. This is also written by a ESL retard who comma breaks like a fucking granny behind a coupe - shit is full of shitty independent clauses strung together with comma tape.

Mist's last message to Salt. It got deleted very quickly and got him banned as a result.

On August 9, Salt would demote Mist and lock /craft/. This would make his clitty leak very hard so he would ask salt to give his job back a gorillion times, saying that he had some big events planned. However he would get no response making his clitty leak even more, so he made one last thread saying that he will make his own splinter if he does not give him his role, this would backfire for him and cause him to get banned.

On August 10, he would leak multiple janny discord servers to the Shroom, and get banned from SoyBooru and Soyjak Wiki.
