The Dark Web, also known as the BLACKED Web, is the portion of the Deep Web located on "darknets," networks of websites only accessible through special software. The Deep Web itself is all content on the World Wide Web that is not indexed by search engines. Darknets include Tor, I2P, and Hyphanet (formerly Freenet). Normies think that the Dark Web is a scary, evil place where all the hackers go and ruin the lives of anyone who stands against them. A common normie misconception in the past was that 4cuck was on the Dark Web, but that's not widely believed today. Contrary to popular belief, accessing the Dark Web is not illegal[a] in and of itself, though it is a popular place to post illegal content due to the anonymity the service provides. The Sharty's Dark Web mirror was used during some Great Domain Drops.
Despite the absolute niggerhell antimatter that is often hosted on them, Dark Web sites are not usually raided due to the latency of anonymity networks making them hard to spam gems on, plus the fact that it's usually very hard to 'ox the owners unless you have certain resources, but you can try if you want.

Darknets[edit | edit source]
Tor[edit | edit source]
Tor (The Onion Router) is the main way of accessing the dark web, specifically the Onion darknet. It relays all your traffic through three Tor relays, obscuring your IP before it reaches the destination. By using three relays in different countries, tracking you becomes almost impossible. Tor can also be used to browse the clearnet, but some sites will filter you out for using Tor or impose restrictions. When accessing normal sites, the final relay is known as the "exit node", as the clearnet site does not use the .onion service. The exit node is the most vulnerable relay for deanonymizing you, especially if it is in Germany, or any other country listed here.[b] When accessing .onion services, there is no exit node, as the connection stays entirely within the Tor network.
Download Tor ONLY from the official site. Always update Tor, new security updates are paramount for your security. Check signature if you're a schizo as well. iOS users, scroll down and find the Onion browser section.
The Brave web browser has a feature that allows you to open private windows with Tor, but this is more of a convenient way to access .onion sites than an anonymity feature. If you want to stay as anonymous as possible, use the official Tor browser.
Tails is an operating system that routes all network connections through Tor. It is the most secure way to connect to the Tor network, but it is probably overkill for the average user.
It's important to note that v2 Onion domains no longer work as of 2021. Instead, you must use the longer v3 domains.
Is Tor the Right Browser For Me?[edit | edit source]
Maybe. It is recommended to keep the browser installed anyway if one day you want to visit a site as anonymously as possible. Your only alternative is a hardened browser while using a VPN. If you live in a shithole[a] country, usage of the Tor network may be dangerous, yet your only way of secure internet access. Act accordingly, and do your homework thoroughly.
The Tor network and a VPN are fundamentally different services and should not be compared. Simply put, Tor provides maximum anonymity, a VPN provides better security and privacy, assuming you are using the right one. See the page for it for more information.
I2P[edit | edit source]
The Invisible Internet Project, or I2P for short, is an encrypted network mainly focused on peer-to-peer communication. Unlike Tor, I2P cannot access clearnet websites because there are no exit nodes. A variety of services can be used over I2P, including IRC, Email, and file sharing.
Hyphanet[edit | edit source]
Hyphanet, formerly Freenet, is an encrypted peer-to-peer content distribution system. It has "opennet" and "darknet" modes.
How to use and browse safely[edit | edit source]

First take your time to learn about the precautions already built within the browser, they are all you need. DO NOT BE A SMARTASS AND CHANGE SETTINGS YOU DON'T KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT. Enable the "bridges" function if you live in a shithole[a] that blocks access or they will 'nish you IRL[c]. Next, visit about:manual and about:manual#security-settings to learn more and about security levels respectively. For security levels, use the one that fits your use case, standard is the recommended one for normal use, safer and safest is the best for accessing shady .onion services, but will break everything.
Follow the browser's warnings regarding anything, such as installing files. Follow proper technical OPSEC to not get raped.

Use Reputable Indices[edit | edit source]
There are no real search engines on the Dark Web, and the ability to use a search engine and get recommended .onion services if the site had it was removed due to a potential security vulnerability.
It is impossible to "index" v3 .onion sites if the site is unknown, you will not find any source that has every single site on it. Simply put, there's no Google for .onion sites. All indices work by manual addition or semi-automation (for popular sites).
You have a few choices when it comes to finding a .onion site:
- Search the site's name with ".onion" at the end in a reputable search engine to find it manually,
- Use
Ahmia or another CONTENT FILTER ENABLED "search engine".
These services may or may not show you what you are looking for, and are not necessarily reliable. Exercise caution and verify with a search engine search on what the link that you found actually is.
Coal to avoid[edit | edit source]
- Search engines with no content filter. You'll see all sorts of shit you don't want to see.
- The Hidden Wiki. The true and honest Hidden Wiki was shut down long ago, so there are a million clones now that link to all sorts of antimatter.
- Dread. It glows.
Bridges[edit | edit source]
Bridges are non-public Tor relays that aid people in shithole countries[a] to circumvent censorship[1]. These shithole countries can block Tor relays, since normal relays are fully public, making it easy for them to block them. Certain censored networks can also monitor their staff for whistleblowing by detecting connections to public Tor relays. The Tor Project resolved this issue by introducing Bridges in 2007, a brilliant solution. What appears to be an otherwise normal service secretly connects you to the usual 3-relay Tor service, with itself as the entry node, bypassing the restriction. Since its status as a bridge is unknown, it appears as somewhat normal traffic without careful censor scrutiny. Shithole countries cannot block them (especially with pluggable transports) without also blocking much, or all, of the internet, making it extremely costly and painful to block relays. Some countries like Iran are willing to pay the price, but they are the exception. This is known as "collateral damage".
Do not use Bridges unless you live in a shithole country or your network is actively being monitored. They do not provide any extra security for use cases except these two conditions. Not only are they usually slow (even slower than the normal service), you are wasting rather precious resources since Bridges relays are relatively scarce. Once censorship authorities discover a Bridge through careful monitoring, they block it, rendering it useless, so it's in a constant state of whack-a-mole.
You may also be wondering how they work if censors can simply download Tor, turn on Bridges, and proceed to blacklist every single secret relay they connect to. Tor mitigates this through rdsys. Rdsys distributes different subsets of bridges through several channels rather than publishing one complete list, but a full explanation is beyond the scope of this page. Here's the usual policy of shithole countries:
- Belarus: See Russia below.
- Best Korea: N/A
- China: Blocks public relays, and has a somewhat self-contained network, making bridges less effective.
- Iran: Actively blocks the internet wholly during sensitive periods, and punishes people severely for trying to use the service. If you are an Iranian, be extremely careful.
- Russia: Russia is actively censoring public relays and, since 2021, is the most hostile country to the network[2]. Russia constantly comes up with new, sometimes smart, methods of nuking bridges functions[3], so if you are Russian, always keep an eye on the news regarding Tor in Russia.
- Turkmenistan: honestly I don't know Your authorities require you to bribe them for internet access, poor Turkmenisoy. Consider moving to a better country.
- United States and other Western countries: Only actively monitor sensitive networks, like those of its intelligence agency staff. Currently, no public law enforcement operation is known to have deanonymized users who were using Bridges.
Pluggable Transports[edit | edit source]
Pluggable transports are another function used by the Tor network to aid you in circumventing censorship. Pluggable transports disguise your connection as something else, effectively fronting your connection to the bridges that front your connection to the Tor network[Marge...]. Click here and here for more information. It is recommended you also use one of these instead of solely relying on Bridges. If you are worried about these sites not having .onion services, don't worry, they are safe to connect through the clearnet.
- Meek: Relies on domain fronting, in which the "first" ordinary domain you connect to is actually a secret middleman and "fronts" all your traffic to the destination. This is achieved by hiding the actual requested domain within HTTPS encryption. By picking popular services, like Microsoft Azure, for this role, the concept of collateral damage makes it quite difficult to censor traffic.
- obfs4: Adds a whole new level of encryption to all traffic . This makes traffic look quite random (by using random protocols) and makes censoring it quite difficult without acking portions of the internet in the rest of the country. Access obfs4 here.
- Snowflake: Disguises traffic to make it look like standard WebRTC traffic. Snowflake is run by volunteers, and can be installed as an extension for Chrome and for Firefox. Keep in mind it's somewhat of an honest botnet, as those with the extension also kind of act like a relay themselves. This does not impact your security. Read more here.
- Webtunnel: Masks your connection similarly to Meek, makes traffic resemble ordinary HTTPS traffic.
Do Not Give Out Personal Information[edit | edit source]
You WILL NOT give out any information that could be used to identify you. Do not use any usernames or passwords that you use for clearnet sites. DO NOT TELL ANYONE YOUR REAL NAME, YOU FUCKING NIGGER.
Even if you are not giving out personal information, any information is personal - so much as saying what kind of cat you have can be used to identify you down the line if someone builds a profile on you.
Avoid 'P[edit | edit source]
The anonymous nature of the Dark Web makes it popular for pedoniggers to post 'P on. Although you probably won't get arrested for inadvertently glancing at it, it is still best to avoid it at all costs. As a safe bet, do not go to any porn or erotica sites, or any image/video sites that advertise themselves as "uncensored" or "unrestricted." (Those probably have all sorts of antimatter besides 'P anyway.) DO NOT GO TO ANY SITE THAT ADVERTISES "HARD CANDY." THAT IS A CODE WORD FOR 'P.
If you come across 'P, simply ignore it and close it. If the site is supposed to have an anti-'P policy, report the content to the site's jannies. If you stumbled across a 'P site on an index, report it to the index's jannies (though they may endorse it, in which case you should cease using that index.) RegistrarNVKES are impossible since there are no domain registrars on the Dark Web, but you can still report the site to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children and relevant law enforcement. DO NOT include any personally identifiable information about yourself in your report since you can still get in trouble for visiting the site. DO NOT DOWNLOAD THE 'P AS ""EVIDENCE"" WHEN SUBMITTING REPORTS YOU DUMB NIGGER.
The Tor browser is obviously a Mozilla Firefox forked browser, so you can disable images using this guide here.
Do Not Buy Anything[edit | edit source]
Several hidden sites are black markets where you can buy and sell things for crypto. It is not a good idea to buy anything on these sites, no matter how enticing, as there is a decent chance it is a scam or honeypot. Physical merchandise needs to be shipped somewhere for customers to receive it, and you can get in deep shit if you're caught doing that.

Do Not Download Files[edit | edit source]
Anything you download may have has malware or illegal shit in it.
If you just have to download stuff then run it in a sandboxed environment, ideally a virtual machine with an encrypted virtual drive and no internet access. If you know what you are doing, you can search its hash on VirusTotal and run it under an anti-virus as well as inspecting the file itself and its metadata.
