Pluto (minor-planet number 134340) is a crazy ass planet, nigga. It's located in the Kuiper Belt which is best known for being a distant region of icy bodies beyond Neptune, another crazy ass planet.

In the early 20th century, Pluto's presence was felt throughout the entire field of astronomy thanks to the research of astronomer Percival Lowell. He discovered that there were some unexplainable wobbles in the orbits of Uranus and Neptune, leading him to speculate that these wobbles were caused by the gravitational pull of an undiscovered, massive world. Following this discovery, he dedicated his studies to the foreign world in question but unfortunately died before discovering that crazy lil nigga we know today as Pluto. Thankfully, in 1930, the scientist Clyde William Tombaugh finally discovered the planet, making it the first known object in the Kuiper Belt.

Pluto's disqualification as planet[edit | edit source]

Upon discovery, Pluto was immediately classified as the 9th planet in our solar-system, and the whole world celebrated and rejoiced at the classification of the crazy lil nigga. Things were going swimmingly for our little 5-mooned friend until some SLFs at the International Astronomical Union (IAU) decided to update the defintion of a planet, which disqualified 'luto from the label. The IAU's updated defintion for a planet includes the following attributes:

It MUST orbit the Sun.
It MUST have sufficient mass for its self-gravity to overcome rigid body forces so that it assumes a hydrostatic equilibrium (nearly round) shape.
It MUST clear the neighborhood around its orbit.

Sadly, Pluto failed the 3rd and final qualification, as it lacked the gravitiation dominance to pull its lazy ass and sweep or vacuum up other debris and smaller bodies in its orbital path. This sealed Pluto's reclassification as a dwarf-planet. In millions of schools across the globe, children are being taught about Pluto's demotion and undisputable position as a dwarf-planet.
