Trains in Italy are divided into regional trains and high-speed trains. The most commonly know high speed trains are italo and frecciarossa trains, italo being the newer company, and frecciarossa the more known. Freccia rossa trains are part of the ETR series, which includes models such as freccia argento, frecciabianca, and freccia link, meanwhile italo trains are more or less the same.
