Catalonia, Catalunya or Cataluña is an independent country autonomous community of Spain that has existed since 1350 AD, full of trannies, faggots, leftists, retarded separatists, niggers, muzzies and of course, jews. It's one of the world's strongest strongholds of libtardism, no wonder commies love this piece of land, because of Barcelona and its history of retarded (((judeo-bolshevik))) tendencies which include secularism, anarchism and social democracy or however the declaration of independence failed again.

History

It was established as an independent county around the 10th century, then they united with Aragon in 1137, later uniting with Castile in 1516, becoming Spain. Catafags commemorate their national day in September 11th, remembering the fall of the Twin Towers Barcelona to Bourbon forces during the War of the Spanish Succession in 1714.

During the mid 1800s, a cultural movement emerged in the region known as "La Reinaxença" (The Reinassance), which was accompanied by the emerging European Romanticism. The movement had a huge role in promoting the Catalan language, expanding Catalonia's art boundaries, exploring the identity of the land, which ended up awakening a National Pride. At the peak of the movement, one linguist known as Pompeu Fabra, who created the first Catalan Dictionary with all the linguistic rules.

During 3 consecutive times they tried being an independent republic, first in 1931 during the (((Second Spanish Republic))), when Lluís Companys tried to forcefully separate from Spain via a coup to the Generalitat, and the government instead of hanging him, instead decided to just give Catalonia what they wanted, more autodetermination, which meant Catalonia's right to preserve it's language🗝️, culture and promote their customs, but also the right to exercise gay race communism without other states judging them. The second time was during the Civil War, when Anarchists gave up the Republic and left to create their own utopia, then killed a bunch of Christbros and other people who had nothing to do with it.

The third time and the most famous, was during October 1st, 2017, the Spanish constitution prohibited a secession referendum, but the Catalonian regional government did it anyways, and only did it in specific areas which had far more separatists than unionists, and only got 40% participation rate, which, logically, resulted in le magical 99% YES results. Obviously the Spanish of Mariano Rajoy government suspended autonomy until one year later, only to get replaced by Sánchez, who would basically suck separatists cock nevermind he's useless enough to not even do that properly.

The people in urban areas are either Maghreb niggers or the most libtard tankie faggots to ever exist, no in between. The largest Urban areas are Barcelona, Girona, Lleida and Tarragona, each of them respective shitholes that make Los Angeles envious. Even though they are libtarded fags for the most part, in the suburbs you find either British tourists, or people from Andalusian descent that of course vote for keeping Catalonia inside Spain, thus creating the demographical area of Tabarnia, the Unionist region of Catalonia.

Rural areas

There are Muslims and niggers as well almost everywhere, but the native catalans are more tolerable, you will find the most catholic and conservative kind, although most of them are the seccessionists (due to mass migration, the independence movement shifted towards the right🗝️ (Meds, there's still a lot of libtard tankies in the rural areas, with entire towns full of graffitis, posters and stickers with far-left propaganda, and pride/palestinian flags everywhere. The worst examples of this being towns like Berga and Manlleu) as of lately because heckin niggers are like spanish who occupy Catalonia but that's more in the central, northern, eastern regions, since the southern and mediterranean is more unionist.

Their favorite activities are:

  • Eating bread with tomato, thick sausages named Botifarra and a type of dried pork called "fuet"
  • Beating a tree trunk during Christmas to make it poop presents (Caga tió or tió de Nadal)
  • A traditional dance named "Sardana"
  • La Castanyada (November 1st), where people buy toasted chestnuts from street vendors or "Panellets" from pastisseries.
  • St George's day (April 23th), where people gift books and roses to each other and a lot of fairs/markets for buying both of these things are made everywhere (also in schools, very similar to those scholastic book fairs in 'murican elementary schools or something)
  • Climbing onto each other to make a human castle (Castellers).

Economy

The entire economy is just exporting olive oil and tourism. Literally. It used to be once the largest technological innovation and car industry centers in Europe, but since the 2008 recession, that went to nothing. Exporting millions of niggers and using them for work while they continue to stab people increases the GDP or something according to the government. It has the highest taxes of Europe and the highest and worst spending, basically the closest thing to communism in the entire continent.

  • The entirely of costa brava, especially places like Cadaqués, Tossa de Mar, Calella de Palafrugell, Begur and Platja d'Aro.
  • The town of Montblanc, highly recommended to visit it during its medieval fair (coinciding with the celebration of St. George's day), they have a lot of things including a theatrical representation of the legend of St. George, the brave knight who killed the dragon and saved the princess.[2] Also don't forget to visit Rifacli's factory and taste their cookies.
  • Figueres, the city of Salvador Dalí.
  • Girona (only the old town area, also known as "Barri Vell").
  • Granollers, (only the center of the city).
  • Castelldefels, especially its castle on the top of the city and the promenade.
  • Calafell (only during the summer, it's full of niggers and muzzies and almost everything is closed during the rest of the year) go to visit the Casa Barral museum, the castle of Santa Cruz and the Iberian citadel.
  • Roda de Berà (only during the summer, Roc de Sant Gaietà)
  • Vilanova la Geltrú (if you're also visiting Calafell)
  • Portaventura Park in Salou.
  • Tarragona (Only the old town area, also known as "Part Alta", the Roman amphiteater and the Roman circus)

  • Santa Coloma de Gramenet, overrun with shitskins, far-leftists and also extremely ugly at the same time? pick a fucking struggle lmao.
  • Canovelles, the exact same as Santa Coloma.
  • Sitges, also known as faggotville (erm, source?) it used to be a nice place to visit like 20 years ago or more, but nowadays is overrated as fuck and full of super obnoxious fags and troons. Visit this place at your own risk.
