The Seventh Soysurgency was the final Quote-era conflict, not counting the 2026 outage that occurred days later. These two events despite being chronologically related, are separate conflicts that stemmed from separate issues. The conflict in the Seventh Soysurgency arose due to heightened tensions at the time regarding the administration, predominantly based on the recent wide-spread usage of Smuglet - a nuvariant that many users consider to be rule-breaking. The most integral event in the Seventh Soysurgency started on the 30th of July 2026, when the jannies changed the definition of Rule 2 to match the other sites' definition, which was a more succinct definition that still carried the same punishment and stipulation. Despite the change turning out to be for clarity, many users believed that pedophilia was de facto allowed on the Sharty. For roughly a week as a result of this change, the Soysphere saw coordinated unrest such as spam or catty wiping.

Over the span of almost two weeks, sparse and spotty infighting and leakage would be observed all across the Soysphere, with conflicts arising in all three Quote-owned sites; the Soybooru, this Wiki, and the Sharty all saw some form of throwdown or controversy[This happens all the time albeit...]ranging from intra-managerial conflicts between jannies, vandalism, mass-flooding and a great distribution of bans from temporary to permanent. These events would not be directly influenced by each other, neither would they directly influence the next event to follow - but due to their similar timing, relevant nature of unrest of the soysphere and frequency of these events, these events with little to correlation with one another have been surmised into the Seventh Soysurgency as they are contextually relevant to the events that would happen after, the outage (under Quote's administration).

Major hostilities

Rewording of Rule 2

Bans for pedophile jokes even after administration lifted the restrictions on them

On July 30, 2026, Rule 2 was altered to remove the ban on "pedophilic jokes", causing immediate backlash from every sane soyteen and increased calls for the Fifth Soyvil War[1]. However, some "people" still got 'nished for posting pedophilic jokes, meaning that this rule was at least, still in effect.

Before the change, the rule read:

  • You WILL NOT post, promote, or advocate for pedophilia or pedophilic content, including pedophilic jokes.

After the change, it read:

  • You WILL NOT post, promote, or advocate for pedophilia or pedophilic content.

This general sentiment would last for the entire duration of the soysurgency. Unlike the other conflicts where they begun and lasted for a short period, then quickly fell out of relevance, this rule change fiasco would stay constant while other external events would happen.

The issue with the rule redefinition

The rules of the sharty were modified to mirror the other site's stipulations on the rule, that being the Booru's definition for Rule 2, and the wiki's. This was changed to not cause confusion, as to joke about pedophilia in general was dependent on many clauses, such as whether you were doing it as self-irony or whether it was slander towards another subject. Being banned for making Blue Archive users being pedophile seems rather silly, but saying you're a pedophile in an ironic fashion is clearly cause for concern. The issue with this rule's definition is that it defined both under the same clause, as both are pedophilic jokes. This was changed to better reflect how the rule actually functions in moderation.

Understandably, many were confused and were led to believe that pedophilic jokes in all circumstances were allowed. This led to mass confusion and outrage by the many rational thinking users of the platform, and false opportunities by bad actors to make unfunny and annoying jokes. By redefining the rule, it proved that the rule was poorly defined in the first place - leading users to believe the "bad pedophilic jokes" were allowed, and leading jartyniggers to assume their "interpretation" of funny jokes were allowed.

This general sentiment would last for the entire duration of the soysurgency. Unlike the other conflicts where they begun and lasted for a short period, then quickly fell out of relevance, this rule change fiasco would stay constant while other external events would happen.

The entirety of /soy/ would be catty wiped numerous times during the soysurgency, and spam on /soy/ and the IRC was reported as consistent. The Ban list was filled with rule 5 and 13 bans. The massive clitty leakage started on /soy/ and the IRC due to the change of rule 2[2] But with the catty still mainly wiped, save for a few normalish threads, and a brimstone thread made by the baitcord[3]. Jannies would catty wipe soy, removing protest threads. A lot of anti-quote and anti-mustard posts are moved to /q/.

Spam has been utilized continuously, especially copypasta spam, notably the "Kill Quote" copypasta. However, out of the coal came one gem, one teen began posting some sick ass Hitler edits[4], boosting morale for the soyteens who were engaged in spam.

Smuglet controversy

'tossNVKE

Main article: Smuglet

>It's not a child, it's just chi-ACK!

Smuglet is a formerly banned, highly controversial nuvariant traced off a Blue Archive meme depicting a chibi character, like how we represent soylent men as template uncolored bald men that don't actually look like men, but caricatures with indistinctive somewhat-androgynous (depending on the variant) face phenotypes - only with the creeping notion that the person forcing the meme has a higher chance than most fandoms, to be a pedophile.

Nevertheless, the variant is used as a form of bait due to the general consensus that Blue Archive is full of diddyphiles. Many people would call for the ban of the variant and treat it to a similar memoryholing as other variants, since the 'booru jannies believed that it wasn't as egregious as those.

As a result of the anti-Smuglet protests, the 'booru jannies halted the uploading of porn to the 'ru for eight days.🗝️

To this day, you still see Smuglets being posted on the platform, and soyteens still have great distress in the continued existence of the variant, and baiters- colloquially referred to as Baitcord by the community, continue to attempt to provoke many users into the platform by posting Smuglet tosses.

PPH crisis

PPH on AUGUST 4TH 22:45 UTC QUOTE JEYLA NQWWWW

As the soysurgency had continued, the PPH of /soy/ had dramatically declined, with it getting below 100 PPH during eurohours and 300 PPH during mutt hours[it just is, ok?snopes?it just is, ok?how???whatbut... why?], possibly caused by soyteens fleeing to splinters or not being as motivated to post. It should be noted that, since marge.moe shut down, it has been harder to track the decline.

It can also be noted that the low PPH can also be highly attributed to the large amount of bans during the Soysurgency. ...This is important to this soysurgency, how? If what the article is saying that there was mass flooding and spam and shit constantly, how the fuck could the PPH be low? Fix, refute and rewrite this. This is also written by a ESL retard who comma breaks like a fucking granny behind a coupe - shit is full of shitty independent clauses strung together with comma tape.

Reaction from users

Debate over name of the event

Some users have referred to this event as "Soyvil War 5", while others say that this is was a regular outrage against admins and should stay as the Seventh Soysurgency. Despite many claims, soysurgencies are dubbed as such due to their in-fractional havoc - never going beyond flooding, catty wipes and mass-clitty leakage; Soyvil wars are vastly consequential, the Seventh Soysurgency wasn't as comparable to the multi-faceted theater conflicts seen in Soyvil wars.

The general misconception of this event being referred to as a Soyvil War 5 by many, is likely due to the namespace already being occupied by an already existing page that originally was related to the Seventh Soysurgency (due to the aforementioned reasons).

Furcord leaks

Main article: Furcord leaks

The /soy/ threads are here: 1 2

On July 28th, 2026, the Furcord leaks prompted backlash within the Soysphere.

Some users, already unhappy with Mustard and his previous conduct, made numerous threads digging through the leaks, turning them into a major topic of discussion. The Furcord leaks are considered one of the key issues that led to the Seventh Soysurgency.

Some users falsely believed these leaks were somehow proof of Mustard being a "pee dough" but once the leaks were inspected, it came to light that all Mustard did was ask for a fursona and say that "us girls do this" in response to "gooning to males."[5] In fact, the initial version of the Furcord page boldly claimed that Mustard was "indeed a lolicon" with a misinterpreted screenshot, and this was likely due to it being written by TheCatalan1977, who later asked Mustard for the context of said message, and was assured it had nothing to do with little girls.[6]

Warrior-Z's declaration of war

On July 30th, Warrior-Z declared war against Smuglet posters, baitcord, and Furcord, beginning the conflict across all the Soysphere (especially SoyBooru), having automatically users supporting Warrior-Z's actions.[7]

"Gambling" controversy

On the same day, Mustard announced the Boorubux system, which some argued turned the Booru into a gambling site. This caused uproar, leading to some Booru users getting distracted, until someone made a thread pointing it out that was later 404'd. You didn't saw anything, soyteen.[8]

A supposed self-dox was posted by a guy from Tennessee called Liam S. Douglas, which did work as a temporary distraction[it just is, ok?snopes?it just is, ok?how???whatbut... why?]. Whether this was an attempt to distract from Furcord or not is unknown. Some users speculate that Liam S. Douglas is Glisterald himself.[it just is, ok?snopes?it just is, ok?how???whatbut... why?]

Several (((bait))) threads by autisticnuswa1488 and other Soygem Pass posters have also been alleged to be distractions. They commonly consist of Smuglet and FPE SNCA.

Mustard suspends porn uploads on SoyBooru

On August 1, Mustard suspended "pornographic uploads" on the Booru until August 10. Supporters of Warrior-Z, or those wanting to see porn removed from the Booru, quickly celebrated this move[9].

Mist becomes temporary admin for a week

Main article: SoyBooru Anniversary

Mustard left the 'ru for a week due to the constant backlashed he recieved, and left the site to Mist for a week, while still having access to its backend. Jersey and Warrior-Z temporarily became new admins, and several users tried to convince Z to ban everything they didn't like. This was considered a distraction in order to calm down soyteens, however, it was futile as Quote lost regardless.

Soyjak Wiki events related to the Soysurgency

The edit war

When the leaks surfaced, an article was instantly created. The article instantly became the one of the most controversial pages in the history of Soyjak Wiki. Of course, said article got in an edit war, in which most notoriously, a user called Aout (funkydealer) vandalized the edits by calling "Smuglet is built for BBC"[10][11], to which Jonkler[W threadfagging lol] constantly rolled back his edits, getting aout reported for vandalism and banned for a day.

MarketPliers leak and retirement

MarketPliers dropped a massive NVKE by posting Baitcord leaks.[12] Which was a distinct SoyBooru DM unrelated to Furcord.

MarketPliers would later be 'nished temporarily for "violating Rule 3", even though xe posted a link to a non-splinter page. Mustard's poor communication resulted in a "ban war" until she was unbanned. Despite this, xe retired from the Soysphere.

IRC events related to the Soysurgency

This topic relates to IRC

ⓘ Here be gegbulls, malware, and TAP WATER.

#soy

Right after the Soysphere shutdown, IRC was the only branch not to be included on the Cloudflare 1033 tunneling error🗝️, making ~100 soyteens join #soy right on the middle of the Soysurgency and start discussing what even happened. Some users started spamming shitfling and doing massive wall of texts inside the channel.[13], continuing the Soysurgency there.

A copypasta was created by the Soyjak Wiki user "QolaTypeShit"[14] when all the spamming was happening. Some soyteens copied and pasted it massively, but it was all a nothingburger and it didn't managed to catch on.

Other events

Further derailing attempts

There have been some derailing attempts during the war.

Notable attempts include:

  • 'teens got distracted by Femquote porn in anti-quote thread[15]. An hour later, a South African posted a picture of his monitor cowered in cum with the femquote porn picture. He got 'nished quickly, leaving the rest of the thread shocked[16]. Following this, multiple other 'teens would become obsessed with femquote.
  • On July 31, Cobson would meet his end in combat during Seventh Soysurgency. He was shot multiple times with a M16 type rifle, according to military and local officials.[17]

Demoralizers

Demoralization was the most common technique used by pro-Quotists during the soysurgency. Demoralizers ran rampant in both the Sharty and the 'ru during the conflict. Their methods included:

  • Claiming that nusois lack the attention span to fight a proper Soyvil War, and that the fighting would die off in only a day or two. This number was then changed to a week after their first prediction became false.
  • Use of the Hunky Twink Sex Machine as a caricature of anti-Quotists. This mostly failed, as anti-Quotists began using the term "hunky" in a positive light.
  • Flooding the log with Smuglet threads to generate seethe. This generally worked.

16888888 GET taken by anti-Quotists

On August 1, anti-Quotists stole the 16888888 GET on /soy/, a win for the anti-Quotists.[18]

Jannies nvke a raid thread

On August 3, a thread is posted by a 'teen in which he asks other teens to help chud-up a Discord he joined from a flyer at his campus. After several 'teens ape the cord, xhey take a look at one of the lead 'cord nigger and begin to datamine him. He later turns out to be a full-blown pedo who is quite a fan of P. With the original thread reaching the bump limit, a new thread would be made. Soon the dox would progress, resulting in several pictures of the target and potential family members. Then, without warning, the thread was deleted by jannies. The reason was that some of the evidence found by teens was 'P spam in the thread, however there are conflicting reports[19]. The original thread, which was highly derailed, was also found to be deleted, despite it being relatively close to the top of the bump limit top on /soy/, and there was a lower PPH during this time.

Femquote Obsession

As many soyteens get 'nished, Seventh Soysurgency deteriorates into posting femquote to get Quote to troon out so they ack themselves.[20]
