never got released award

nusoi was a planned less snarky, more snappy new in-house imageboard software developed by Quote for soyjak.party, to replace the Sharty's current Vichan fork. There is very little known about what it would have looked like, but Quote said most UI changes are moderation related and there won't be many changes for users. Quote stated that it would have be closed source to prevent splinters from using it ev&doe the sharty's Vichan is closed source anyway. It was being programmed in Go (pajeet language o algo)^{Get it? LMAO!!}, and was most likely vibe coded because Quote is a slopcoding poojeet.

Despite Quote promising to release it very soon, it never did, and following the Second Great Handover, Quote offered Salt to stay on and finish it as a developer, but it was "not in good shape" according to Salt.^{[it just is, ok?]} Salt also stated he was not interested in it, and that Quote mentioned he would make it "open source" if it wasn't used by him. Quote's mod account later got eaten by the wolves, and he withered away.

Most soyteens currently regard Nusoi as:

When it was first announced, some 'teens were excited at the idea of a new imageboard software, though some saw no point in developing a whole new system instead if the Sharty already used a custom Vichan fork. Many correctly predicted that it would never be finished.

After the Second Great Handover, it was widely accepted that Nusoi would be eternal vaporware.
