TikTok is no stranger to le heckin problematic scandals and drama. TikTok had a big issue with gore and shock videos, especially during 2020-2021 when Ronnie McNutt's suicide video was being spread everywhere and jannies would leave it up for hours so everybody saw it[4]. And don't forget that one time in June 2021 when a beheading video got like a million views from being on the front page for a whole day[5].
Its also very frequent to have other minor 'p, gore, porn spams due to 'tok jannies being retarded or probably gooning to it, these incidents have lasted days or weeks and because the userbase is so retarded that they will make videos about the spam and more people will see it causing a snowball effect, since 'tok videos can get popular very quickly it can cause thousands of people to see it.
There's also a general problem with epi. It is stupidly easy for cacas to stumble upon epi, and it's become even worse with the addition of being able to comment pictures now. Cropped porn or censored porn is extremely common in comment sections, and people will randomly post it because they think it's le heckin funny or something. There's also filters, where when you click on it, it shows porn. Cacas constantly use filters doing random shit, worsening the problem. Also trends (such as the King Nasir trend which is unfunny as fuck) were a large trend, introducing minors to porn for sure.
