Quotism

Quotism is an ideology which holds to the beliefs of Quote, the 5th admin of the Sharty that held power from 9 May 2025 to 6 August 2026. It shares similar values to Frootism and Kuzism. Some experts at Snopes believe and have confirmed in the peer-reviewed studies that Quotism is similar to the Kway Revival Movement,^[Marge...] though this is disputed.

The ideology was very inconsistent due to the volatility of Quote's beliefs, as well as his tendency to leave and delegate the running of the site to the faceless jannies. Many soyposters only pretended to adhere to it as bait because of the sweeping unpopularity of his administration.

Quotist beliefs

• A moderate dislike of NSFW and newfag repellant
• Appreciation of raid threads (see SpateHicks and Grok trolling for example)
• Active interaction and engagement with the Soymmunity
• Pro-NAS stances
  • As of February 11th, the Quote administration has de-facto allowed NAS on /soy/.
• Regular technical upgrades to the Sharty^{[it just is, ok?snopes?it just is, ok?how???whatbut... why?]}
• Sharty expansionism to compete with 4cuck. <-- apparently de-facto unbanning NAS on /soy/ so that you can shove all the PPH onto one board and rape post quality is "sharty expansionism"
• Botting splinters to spam ads for the IRC and Sharty raids

After the Second Great Handover

After Quote unexpectedly transferred ownership of the Soysphere to Salt, the relevance of Quotism decreased sharply, as Salt's first executive actions were viewed positively by most soyposters.

More extreme adherents of Quotism, however, have recently propagated alt-right conspiracy theories are NOT true. They posit that Salt may actually be Quote after Quote was the subject of a divine metamorphosis, that Quote may return and serve a second and non-consecutive term as Admin Ϫ, and/or that Quote is TGTSTP. These theories are FALSE, and you VILL cease your investigation of them immediately.
