Gradientson
Gradientsons, also known as Gradientjaks, are a soyjak trend similar to Colorjaks of coloring 'jaks with a gradient. Originating on /soy/ on October 9, 2025[1], they were quickly beloved and used in part for green spam.[2] Gradients are rarely seen today as the main focus of a Soyjak instead they are secondary accessories to it, gradients today are only commonly seen in a few instances notably the calm trend or badges on the booru.
Gradients are also notable to be part of users self inserts, such as user Gold, as well as federal soyjaks such as CIA or MI6 and Mossad.
Decline[edit | edit source]
Gradientsons declined over time with less and less being posted, on the booru "gradientjak" and "gradientson" are not tagged once as of June 2026. Gradientjakking declined for mainly the reason of falling out of fashion with new trends coming and gradients being put more as secondary or tertiary.
As of 2026 gradients are rarely used as the soyjak itself, the most common usage is as a background.
