Hawleyjak (or Giygas, and variant:hawleyjak on the 'ru) is a soyjak variant traced from album cover artwork of "yelwah eoj yelwah eoj" that was spammed on the shemmy, motivated by intent to wipe the catalog and "recent images" on the homepage. The earliest known post of it can be traced to september 2024, though the first posting of it was not archived and is lost media.
Usage[edit | edit source]
Hawleyjak can be considered an avant-garde 'jak with niche usage, as it doens't seek to represent much more than the downward spiral of the subject itself. Perhaps its use in catty wiping fits the theme as wipes seek to create an endless loop of the same image. Its alternate name as Giygas is a reference to the final boss of the rpg Earthbound that has a spiral face similar to the look of Hawley in the album cover.
Froot once used this variant on the Shiwi.
