This 'jak is traced from the youtuber Mattastic ASMR [formerly known]] as Asmattr during the time it was made. The channel focuses on ASMR and other associated gaming topics, with the the Soyjak being traced from an image of him holding a Nintendo 64 controller. He's somewhat similar to Nojak, and old archives suggest he originates as early as March 9 of 2022.
