Matchajaks are left-wing faggots!Matchajaks, also known as Matcha Male Soyjaks, Matcha Soyjaks and Performative Male Soyjaks are humorous, soyjak-style drawings depicting an archetype of effeminate faggots called performative males or matcha males that were initially derived from the Soyjak meme. Matchajaks and their use are becoming its own subculture within soyjak.party, colonizing and spreading on the forgotten /q/ board of the website.[1]
The oldest known Matchajak was posted on the /soy/ board of soyjak.party by an anonymous user on January 6, 2026.[2]
Matchajaks are traditionally used to imply that one's opponent is, in fact, a perfomative male who looks like these depictions and says whatever is being quoted (usually their own past words). This is known as matchaquoting, a posting technique that causes immense seethe within users of soyjak.party, to the point where matchajak posters are getting banned for no reason by faggot jannies who can't stand getting quoted with drawings of themselves.
Matchajaks are also used to troll and derail threads, usually ones about gooning or degenerate fetishes, where a matchaposter either copy and pastes the entire thread followed by a matchajak image, or two matchaposters start a matchaduel where they quote each other with matchajaks until the thread becomes unusable. [3] Also used to cattywipe /q/ from time to time. [2]

Censorship and persecution by the Soysphere's moderation[edit | edit source]
The moderation of soyjak.party and their relationship towards matchajaks has become subject to controversy. Innocent matchaposters have become increasingly persecuted by the members of the moderation staff.
This includes matchaposters getting banned for no reason and told to kill themselves on the ban reason because jannies are faggot performative males IRL, SoyBooru admincucks auto-deleting new matchajak posts for no reason and tagging classic matchajak posts as a Soyak subvariant even though it is distinct enough from Soyak to be considered its own unique variant like Chudjak, who shares the same glasses with Soyak. This has led a matchaposter to make his own matchafolder independent from the SoyBooru. This is why you rarely, if ever, see matchajaks on SoyBooru.
