Save Booru, also known as Überhunk, is an AI-generated image of the HTSM subvariant Terrence. The image parodies the TikTok-famous larpgroid SAVE EUROPA image. It was used by SoyBooru namefags who opposed the state of the site during Soyvil War 5 and for a short period after the conflict ended.
History
[edit | edit source]The original image was uploaded to SoyBooru on July 15, 2026. It was well received due to the large number of baitfags active on the site. Its main message was that Hunky was always right all along and that the baiters were actually the fuggen jerdee.
The image reached its peak in popularity during Soyvil War 5, when it was repeatedly spammed on the Boorum alongside various copypastas attacking infamous baiters. On July 30, 2026, SoyBooru user Tekkerson uploaded an image of Überhunk with a Waffen-SS emblem. This started a related trend in which self-inserts of namefags who considered themselves moralGODS were posted with said emblem. Video edits featuring these namefags were later created as well.[2]
Opposition
[edit | edit source]Most baiters viewed the movement as a group of people who were mad at the internet. Support from figures such as Pepsi47 and Aryan warrior, both of whom had their own controversies, further damaged its reputation. Baiters rarely treated Save Booru posters as a distinct group, instead preferring to mock individual Save Booru enthusiasts like Veiron.
Decline
[edit | edit source]After Soyvil War 5 ended, the image declined in relevance. It received further attention after the leak of a DM known as Hunkcord, whose members were largely users who opposed the state of SoyBooru and supported the Save Booru movement. The leaks were dismissed as SNCA, although they contained some geg-worthy material. This included a proposal by member Jonkler to spam "Cobblestone fart GIFs" in order to demoralize her. 
The leak turned the Save Booru movement into a joke. Someone, possibly Hate, subsequently chudposted numerous falseflag images featuring Überhunk with different pride flags in the background. The trend then largely died out, and Überhunk has since rarely been posted.
