Vibe coding is the act of using AI to generate code. It happens when you are a lazy fuck who doesn't know how to code and because coding takes time, you have to rely on an LLM to do it for you.
The real danger is when you rely on it; vibe coding to debug, or quickly generate boilerplate or repetitive sections, while still writing the code itself is fine. When you start letting the machine generate the code for you, you lose the ability to code and you start not understanding your """own""" code.
Users of vibe coding include midwit Redditors and Indians who are responsible for breaking code.
Examples
- Swolesome.vip was vibe-coded by a soyteen as an alternative to breach.vip.
- Tea app leak and Glowquest were sharty/4chan winraids against vibe-coded websites made with no effort.
- Module:Slideshow - AI added the feature where you can change the amount of slides, before this it was capped to 3
- For a long time, it was rumored that the Nuuru was vibe coded due to it having several traits typical of vibe coded websites. Mustard, who is the public face of the 'ru, refused to confirm or deny these claims, and Quote straight up denied them. However, later leaks from June 2026 finally confirmed this long-held rumor: it was vibe-coded in C#.
