Soy-tan was the former mascot of soyjak.party and the current mascot of jakparty.soy. She is featured in comics, fanart and other content created by soyteens. Soy-tan was first seen in September of 2020, the early drawings of the character probably created by a Brazilian. Soy-tan was featured as the soyjak.party favicon and as the image in pinned threads, until shortly after Kuz's purchase, she is also Soot's daughter.
The only people who post soytan nowadays are Oldfags wannabes or the people who would be posting soylita like a year ago. Notice how soytan posting started getting more popular after soylita got banned?
Design
Soytan is a moe anthropomorph of the shite soylent bottle. She has long black hair and brown baggy ("nerdy") clothes, wears over-the-top stereotypical "nerdy girl" glasses, and is often depicted as participating in "soy" activities such as playing Nintendo switch.
Other interpretations
Some claim Soytan to be the female version of Soyjak. Another theory is that Soytan is Soot's genderswapped depiction of himself and that it was made by him (despite that there are ZERO peer reviewed studies proving this, no known pictures of Soot irl, and that Soytan was made by an Brazilian). This theory originates from the trend of other site owners doing this; both Kuz and Moot are known to have depicted themselves as anime girls in the past, and both of them eventually came to realize how cringe it was.
Status as Anime
Because soytan is a female kawaii mascot with Japanese inspiration, soyjak experts consider it to be tranime. Leading soyjakkers agree that the only reason soytan hasn't been forgotten is that Soot rightfully decided to feature it in the sticky on /soy/. If the /soy/ sticky had not existed, the soytan meme would have been wrongfully entombed in the depths of failed /s4s/ garbage nigger memes. In summary, soytan is gem (even doe they told me is coal]) because it is:
- Gem (compliments soyjak as the sharty mascot )
- Well drawn
- Tranime
- IAS (because i said so)
- Based (because it is Soot's gender-swapped self-insert character)
Also because of his refusal to delete the board /a/, soyjak historians have taken the existence of soytan as evidence that Soot is a chad.
Downfall
Even though he never explicitly stated that soytan was no longer the mascot of the party, kuz took down soytans sticky thread and changed the sites icon to Impish Soyak Ears shortly after assuming power. (Kuz retired and Soy-tan is being forced by drawchad avatarGODS though.)

Re-emergence as VTuber
On the 10th of February, a thread was made with a video of Soytan as a pngtuber playing Peggle. This was deleted within hours due to the anti-Soytan stance of the current administration, however a few short videos have been archived,[1] one of which shows the lost thread.[2] (OH MY FUCKING EARLY 2000'S, SOYTAN LOST MEDIA?!!!!!) His voice is male and you WILL not question it, you WILL support xer and xe IS valid.
