Petty God is a subvariant consisiting of a Soyjak wielding a Katana, ready to attack.

History[edit | edit source]

The trend gained popularity from a Fruitjak version, where a Melonjak fought a Strawberryjak[2] in an event that became known as Battle of The Ridge.[3] This image was used on SPVA's famous SMV for the song I FUCKING LOVE SCIENCE to represent the lyric:

>We thought that storms were caused by petty gods, fighting on top of a mountain

Which is where the name for the subvariant comes from.
