Sproketan
Sproketan is a variant of Soytan meant to be a personification of a bottle of Sproke. She has two versions: One with long brown hair meant to be a child, and another with short black hair and glasses meant to be a teenager or an adult.
Origin and History
Sproketan actually originates from the Jarty, on a /soy/ thread with OP declaring >I made Soytan a friend. I call her Sproke-tan. Surprisingly, the adult version was created before the child version, with the latter later uploaded by another user on the same thread. It drew controversy with some users thinking even the adult version looked too young, Jartycucks that wanted porn of her arguing with Sharty users and some criticism and praise over Sproketan reminding of old 4cuck kawaii 2007 desu moe culture. She was uploaded to the SoyBooru the following day and received mixed reactions on the Soysphere along the years.
Criticism
The child version, just like any other child jak posted on the Soysphere, was criticized because it would inevitably be used by pedophiles as self-insert or goonslop, thus giving it a reputation as Discord coal. Besides that, both versions were also criticized for the same reasons and for as Soytan, being NAS, women and tranime inspired. Most soytan haters will also hate sproketan just for being connected to her at all. She has also been criticized for being a psyop created by the Ϫ-Up Corporation in order to harm the Sproke Company’s reputation.
Usage
Despite the controversial nature of the variant, it has been used to advertise Soycraft. Including on the official Sharty tiktok account.[2] She has also once been the mascot and icon of the SudeArchive when it was up.[3]
