like those ruby gold burger machines? mmmm marble go wheeeeeGoldberg is a soyjak variant traced from and named after the infamous Soysphere moderator and no-lifer MoonMetropolis and partially based on Chudjak, specifically the Patrick subvariant.

The variant was unsurprisingly created by the shroom, where hate and criticism of MoonMetropolis festered due to his controversial takes and behavior on the new schlog. The 'jak was created by shroom and booru user SUPERNIGGA in the former's "Schlog community watch" thread, originally calling it "Le shlog Janny face" (a reference to Le /pol/ face). This variant became the most popular Shroom OC on the soysphere after MoonMetropolis started to become hated on other soysphere sites, it became popularized after being used on the cover of the "schlog freestyle song" which became popular on the soybooru and sharty after getting spammed. In September 2025 the variant was briefly banned on suspicion of it being used by disruptive (((satanist))) groups, but the ban was short lived.
Design[edit | edit source]
The Goldberg variant combines the look of Joshua's infamous old mugshot with the grumpy appearance of Patrick, having the same lips and eyes of the latter but with a different face shape, long balding hair, the neckbeard and the large forehead with scabs that are a hallmark of Moon's picture. It is likely that the inspiration to this variant was other users making various edits of Moon's mugshot on the shroom and schlog.
