Ned Diggers, also known as Nead Diggers, is a soyjak natejak subvariant of Markiplier Soyjak, combined with Science Lover. It used to depict the average soyteen during dead nigger hours when the site is lowest PPH. Ned wears a dead nigger brown and grey shirt with the brown matching his hair color. Ned wears a badge declaring he's the only person on soyjak.party, a watch, as well as four different flag ribbons on his shirt representing the dead nigger hours timezones. Due to dead nigger hours spanning across many different timezones and locations, the EU, ASEAN, Russian, and Australian flags are on his shirt to represent them. Ned is unlikely to see Nate Higgers, the soyteen depiction during mutt hours due to him only being on the site when Nate is asleep.

Ned Diggers was first created in a thread on /soy/ on January 8, 2026.[1] After the thread was created, the inital version was posted on Soybooru.[2] In this thread, people discussed how to improve Ned's design. One person suggested to add armbands depicting the countries in the dead nigger hours. However, people did not like the design, so it was changed to flags on his sleeves, then finally to flags on the chest of the shirt.
