The Kuzjak variant, also known as Yurijak, and Carterjak on the 'ru, is a soyjak variant traced from Eduardo Foltz. Although originally used to depict Kuz, it later began to be used to depict Russians in general. An edit depicting the variant in a KGB uniform was subsequently created and has since become more popular than the original as a representation of Kuz.
History
This variant was created by The Swede, who created the first Soyjak, Impjak, and many other soyboy wojack variants. Its precise date of origin is unknown; however, it was created no later than January 2022, when it began appearing in 4chan archives.[3]
The 'jak was primarily intended to depict Kuz differently from the usual Gapejak used for Soot and other subsequent admins. After Kuz had supposedly revealed his IRL identity as Eduardo Foltz, tracing a new variant became an obvious choice. In addition to depicting Kuz, the variant was subsequently used to represent Russians in general and as a generic 'jak that is now edited into other characters.
The variant declined in popularity after Kolyma dissolved and Kuz left the Soysphere. However, it is still occasionally used as to represent him.

Yuri Kuznetsov was born into a Russian family on June 30, 1968, in Omsk, USSR. As a child, he was indoctrinated into the communist doctrine of the Soviet Union. He enlisted in the Red Army and later joined the KGB, where he oversaw operations in East Germany around 1988. His tenure was short-lived as the Berlin Wall and the Soviet Union dissolved in 1991. After the KGB was abolished, Kuz returned to military service as a soldier in the Russian army.
In 1993, Kuz served on the front line during the Black October coup, when Boris Yeltsin ordered the army tanks to fire at the Russian White House and remove the parliament. This became Yuri's breaking point, convincing him he could no longer remain in the motherland. He emigrated to the United States in 1994, shortly before the outbreak of the First Chechen War.
Kuz arrived at the docks of New York City, where he met a Russian Jew named Anton Maximov. Maximov immediately found him work with the Russian Mafia in Brighton Beach, but their activities caused them considerable trouble. Forced to flee New York City for Tennessee, they founded a shady company there named Kolyma Network, which became involved in numerous scams.
