VATHgate is ID'd.
#VATHgate is Vinluv's attempt to right a perceived wrong he finds within soyjakking, with the problem in question being assumed moderator abuse/carelessness on the booru. This causes more than half of his posts there to be hidden from the public eye. Support for the movement has been mixed, with some 'jakkers feeling sympathy for Vinluv's plight, labelling him "Vin-chad", while others use it as an example of his banishment. Detractors believe that:
- Vinluv is underaged.
- As a namefag he harms the Sharty's image.
- His impulsive attitude towards sharing may bring unwanted attention to the Party's culture, bringing a downfall to the modern age.
Is 'Luv 'Sharty Culture?[edit | edit source]
Many people are dubious of Vinluv's involvement in the Party. Is he still the KYMfag he once was before his banishment, or has he evolved into soyjakking's last messiah? Arguments for the former include the fact that while he is banned from KYMhq, Don Cadwell and other important mods still follow him on Twitter. However, Vinluv has created many unique Gems such as "Fun With Lee" , "Yak'n'Jak", "Soygustus Jak", and Nojak's personal favourite-- Maskposting, Son of the Mask memes curated for 'Party Standards.
How do I help?[edit | edit source]
Depends on how you say "help". To stop Vinluv, you would need to negotiate with him or the jannies to cool his shit. To benefit his cause, you would need to spam Vinluvian images, protesting until Booru managers give up and unban his images. Posting KYS wont work as he trademarked "/Kool Yung Soot/" making the insult null and void for him. To benefit him, use "ID' and "IV" to spread awareness of his posting to the uninitiated.
Conspiracies[edit | edit source]
People may believe that anti-Vinluv posters are Soot-paid spies attempting to silence the movement, seeing how the secondary VATHgate thread was posted onto /nate/ to silence his cries. Others believe Vinluv is a Kuz agent, paid to create distrust and ill will within the Sharty, ensuring its destruction. Neither are proven correct but facts and logic lean towards the former.
