Fashionjaks, also known as Gyarujaks or Barbiejaks is a soyjak trend displaying soyjaks clothed in various fashion styles popular with women.
History[edit | edit source]
Fashionjaks were created by an avatarfag Brazilian woman who browses on /pol/ and goes by H4r4jvkv on the soybooru. These jaks are shown in feminine Japanese fashion styles such as gyaru, wearing the associated clothes and makeup.
Criticism[edit | edit source]
Fashionjaks receive the same kind of criticism that the average female soyjak receives, such as not really making fun of anyone and being anomalies to standard soyjak culture. Others say that these critiques are simply a result of woman derangement syndrome and that women wanting to appropriate soyjaks for uses that appeal to them is a good thing, actually. Another things about barbiejaks specifically that made them get criticized is that some of them are based on male variants wearing the accessories, which makes them kinda look like trannies.

Because many users suffer from WDS on /soy/, fashionjaks (particularly Himeson) are a surefire way to collect reppies. This may be done by LARPing as a woman, as Himeson has become closely associated with phrases such as moid and scrote.
